Humminbird PiranhaMax 160 Portable Fishfinder

I love this fish finder because its portable. I modified the unit and use it for ice fishing. It makes the world of difference when you can see all the elements under the ice. I would highly encourge other fisherman to explore the same fish finder. It is one third of the cost of most ice fish finders. It just takes a little creativity to set up. I used 3/4 PCV pipe and unions to create a T. On the bottom of the T, I connected the transduce with a brass screw. The T ctoss is two 6" pieces of PCV connected in the center with a T union. To this I connected the down piece of PCV that the transduce is mounted to. It was simple and easy to make and used. When I'm finished fishing, I simply pull the pieces appart and store it in the fish finders case.

For the person who just wants to have all the basic information easily at their fingertips this fish finder is the bomb. Nice packaging, easy to use ans so portable. Can't wait for ice fishing.
