Hulk vs. Wolverine

This is the animated event classic Hulk fans have been waiting for. Step into the action as the Hulk cuts a path of destruction through the Marvel universe in two beautifully rendered features starring fan-favorite characters opposite the big green guy. In HULK VS. WOLVERINE, Weapon X decides he must put a stop to the Hulk’s annihilation of the Canadian countryside, which results in quite the mano-a-mano. In HULK VS. THOR, the devious Loki thinks he has finally unearthed a means to thwart his stepbrother Thor: the beast known as the Incredible Hulk.

WOW! here i am in my late 40's and it has finally arrived, a real comic in an animated form. the animation is top notch. the pq is really good for the style and feel they are portraying. the audio is top notch (especially in the hulk vs. thor) and oh, did i mention it's DTS HD MA 7.1, well kiss my ...! very well done and I hope this is seriously the first two of many more to come. no longer held by the constraints of saturday morning tv the movie makers are free to make not only a great story and art but they also keep it real for the fans of comics. the extras showing the making of both films was great. to see the folks who did the voices, the writers and directors and to get a sense of their inspiration for wanting and creating such great works. the artist and animators it was all very well made and done. mind you, i'm a hugh thor fan (probably because my father was a carpenter and always had that hammer) i found that thor gives the best use of the 7.1 sound system between the two films. the wolverine film on the other hand will keep your subwoofer pissing off the folks next door, up and downstairs and perhaps across the street! a fine addition to my blu-ray collection. i watched them both from end to end on that blu-ray disc and was happy to kill of some of my life doing it! trust me, you will enjoy. they are coming out with an xmen animated video in april this year, which is great news. with the wonderwoman film coming out next month, life for animated comics is good. to really enjoy this you must be a comic fan and know the characters. if not you might not be able to appreciate this on the level that say a comic book fan would.

Two fun Hulk smackdowns on one disc

This is a really fun DVD with a lot of nobs and tributes to the original comics throughout both films. In Hulk vs. Thor Loki takes control of the jade giant and intends to use the Hulk's strength to defeat his brother Thor. But when Loki loses control and the Hulk sets his sights on the palace where Odin lay sleeping both Thor and Loki must work together to keep the Hulk from destroying their realm. This is a great film visually and has a lot of great fights as Hulk smashes his way through Asgard in a berserk rage and nearly destroys the entire realm overpowering even the mighty Thor. Hulk vs. Wolverine is an homage to the many great Hulk and Wolvie battles all the way back to Wolverine's first appearance in Incredible Hulk #181. Really this film feels more like it is about Wolverine as he is sent to stop the Hulk who is supposedly rampaging across Canada. Things get really interesting when their fight is interrupted by the team from Weapon-X who want both fighters as their weapons. Wolverines origins are revisited in his memories and now Wolverine and Hulk must fight their way out of Weapon-X against his old teammates Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth, and the ever hilarious Deadpool (who steals the show every time he appears). Both films showcase excellent animation and voice talents as well as two versions of the Hulk with the Banner-less mindless hulk in Hulk v. Thor and a more talkative "Hulk Smash Little Man!" version in Hulk v.Wolverine. Overall a good pair of films especially for Hulk and Marvel fans.

Hulk Vs is a 2009 direct-to-video animated film from Marvel Animation and Lionsgate, featuring the Incredible Hulk in two short film battles, one against Wolverine, the other against Thor. Both short films have been rated PG-13 by the MPAA. Animation was done by Madhouse.[1][2] Kaare Andrews has provided the artwork for the DVD and Blu-ray packaging.[

Hulk Vs. is made up of twain stories. Hulk Vs. Wolverine is when Hulk is viewed as a destructive force that needs to be stop with various Marvel's characters guest appearance. Wolverine is hired to stop Hulk but with the rage of both Wolverine and Hulk can they work together or is all lost? Hulk Vs. Thor is when Hulk is thrust into the world of the gods so to speak. In this one there is jealousy, mind control, evil and betrayal plus the destructive battle between Hulk and Thor. The pain that Hulk delivers is no myth and the gods will receive no mercy for Thor could have used Beta Ray Bill's help. This is a good movie for I am not a betting man but if I was my money would be on the Hulk.
