After a hard investigation and having a Huawei Phone, i decided to buy this product because i had a little money left. Now i wish i've bought 2 of it. Its incredible.
·g: priceless. It handles all my needs with success. I don't want another one. Its perfect.
Ihave no problem with the resistive screen cos i use it with my nails and its very nice to type in it this way.
Purchased this "thing" (Ideos S7-104) mainly to play angry birds. After updating to Android 2.2 (Stock 2.1) it ran great. All other apps (Games, Mail, Youtube, etc) also run flawlessly. Biggest con is the resistive screen, the processor isn't the fastest I've seen but really does the job well.
Does not perform good with text input, consider getting a external keyboard (?) or buy the S7-105 version, which is capacitive..
Also a little heavy, but it's ok.
This is an amazing device. It's one of the few 7 inch tablets that allow you to add a 3G SIM card from AT&T to surf the Internet from almost anywhere. Don't be trapped by wifi hotspots. Take your Internet with you.
- 7 inch screen
- Internal 3G slot
- Touch screen plus Blackberry style touchpad
- Stylus for detailed work (html editing, long typing, small Web links)
- 8 GB harddrive
- 500 mb of Ram
- Mini USB port out
- Enabled to make calls (I haven't turned this feature on yet)
The only downside is the battery. Maximum I can get it to last is 5 hours, but that seems pretty typical of most tablets. 3G doesn't burn the battery like wifi does.
Just yesterday, I was riding around and got lost (twice). I pulled out the tablet. Launched Google Maps. Found where I was and where I wanted to go. Try that with a Samsung, Motorola or an Archos tablet. Tough to surf the Web when there's no wifi around.
I bought this tablet as an alternative to my netbook. It's quite quick and the resistive touch screen is very responsive. It has lots of storage space and with a quick download of app2sd from the Android Market, I was able to move most of my apps to the sd card with ease. This tablet works well with AT&T's 3G network, and is an unlocked cell phone that works great as a speakerphone or my Bluetooth headset. Wifi connection at home is quick and works great for streaming videos and stuff like Pandora or Slacker.
Its a nice display and fairly quickly. Im a bit disappointed that it has no built in internal memory but It has the option for an Micro SD card. Its small but still kind of bulky to use as a phone as well. Ironicly the phone park works great so its not all bad. Surfing the net is fast and works great with my wireless. Over all im satisfied for the price. thank you
