One of the easiest to use camcorders I've used in my life. The parts are very sleek and high quality unlike some camcorders I've used by JVC where pieces snap and latches are broken. This is a strong durable camera that takes excellent videos. The setting choices have made a huge difference on quality of the situation you are in. For instance, once I switched the scene to spotlight while recording a Christmas play, every light became clear as if I were watching it with my own eyes.
I bought this camera for a trip to Europe and to make videos for Youtube,Very easy to use.Video picture quality is good,but digital photo quality is poor.You must have a separate program on your pc to convert the disc files to mpegs so you can upload to Youtube.This is my First video camera and I love it ,very easy to use.
It gives great quality- a lot better than what I've seen around. The limitation is the battery. It does not last long. Always carry a spare (or two) battery. The other limitation is the medium- dvd. You are limited only to half an hour. You can buy double sided but you have to manually flip it. But for the price and quality- you can't beat it! ANd use +RW for quick finalization. -RW takes forever.
An absolutely user friendly Mini DVD Camcorder. The digital quality is superb, and carries on the Hitachi quality. I love the stills I get straight from the Video Playback, and most of all, the great videos of my newest grandson. Get this Camcorder...you won't regret it.
The best camcorder I have had to this date.It is loaded with features. It is also easy to use. The playback on the mini DVD was excellent also.
