Movie synopsis
Uncovering geneological facts becomes a horrific nightmare when a young man hopes to discover his roots. What he finds is that he is the descendant of incestuous Dutch aristocrats and that a threatening force in the island where he lives may come from within. Co-written by Dan O'Bannon (ALIEN) and featuring Rutger Hauer (THE HITCHER) in a memorable role.

) When I saw this movie on EBAY, while searching in the general category of horror, I noticed that Rutger Hauer was in the movie. I knew that even if it was an obscure movie, that it would be good. Turns out, it was great and suspenceful. It had a story to tell on the future of inbreeding. Really creepy.

This movie had all the elements of a classic B movie- a plot that made no sense, bad guys who toddlers could get away from, and pointless naked/sex scenes. So if you want a movie that's so bad it's good, or you just love Roy Dupuis (he gets naked), this is the one for you!
