About the Manufacturer
The Heavy Putter was invented by Stephen Boccieri, President / CEO or Boccieri Golf. Formally a mechanical engineer for one of the world’s largest petrochemical and nuclear industry engineering companies, Boccieri specialized in the design of piping systems for nuclear power plants. Then he transferred such knowledge of and experience in physics to the golf industry, where for several years he scientifically analyzed high-end shafts and their relationships to clubheads. From there, the Heavy Putter was born. The first Heavy Putter models were officially launched at the 2005 PGA Merchandise Show. Since that time, they have become universally accepted by TOUR professionals and amateurs alike. PGA Tour star Troy Matteson used the Heavy Putter en route to his victory at the 2006 Frys.com Open, and is one of many touring professionals using the Heavy Putter. Currently, the Heavy Putter is found at 3,000 retail locations in 29 markets worldwide.

Great feel

) I switched from the mallet-like B3M to this C2-DF putter, and it feels great! As with all Heavy Putters, the weight in the shaft is the difference over other similar putters on the market. I've always preferred heavier putters. I've been using the Heavy Putter for about l3 years now, and they really fit my preferences for all green speeds. Whether it's just me or whatever, the C2-DF seems to fit my line of sight a little better. It's been over 25 years since I used a blade-style putter, but this one feels really good. I'm 64 years old, and I highly recommend the Heavy Putter line. As we age, our hands are not as steady as they used to be, and the extra weight seems to steady things down for me. So, for you older guys/gals, give a Heavy Putter a try.

The extra weight of this putter makes it easier to maintain a smooth stroke through the entire putt. My putting has been noticeably better since I started using it. I'm not a great putter with it but now it seems I'm always around the hole. The green cover is a little cheesy but at least it's hard to lose.
Best off the rack putter I've ever used...

) The C2-DF is the best off-the-rack putter I've ever used. The weight and balance of the putter are excellent and, just like the Heavy Putter advertising says, it helps produce a smoother straight back, straight through stroke. The feel of the putter is simply excellent, and is much better than several of the more expensive putters I've tried. When you couple that feel with the extra weight and perfect balance that this putter has, you get a smooth tempo that produces great results. This putter is easy to align, and my distance control with it is uncanny. This is the 3rd Heavy Putter I've owned, and is the 2nd C2-DF (the older one went in my range bag). I've never had a putter custom fitted to me, so I can't speak to whether this putter would be better than one of those. But for guys like me who buy their golf equipment off-the-rack, this is a great piece of golf equipment!
