Halo 4 is a first-person shooter video game developed by 343 Industries for the Xbox 360 console. It is the first installment in a new trilogy of Halo series games, named the "Reclaimer Trilogy". The game was released worldwide on November 6, 2012, with the exception of Japan where the game will be released on November 8, 2012. The game begins 4 years after the ending of Halo 3, and marks the return of the Master Chief as the main protagonist, and the AI Cortana.
A few notable story threads are left annoyingly hanging, and some of the flip-3-switches areas of the campaign can be a little bit of a grind on higher difficulty on a few levels. But, here is the bottom line, Halo 4 is incredible. It’s probably fair to say that it’s better than I think, any of us, hardcore fans or casual, thought it had any chance of being. Microsoft clearly wrote a blank check for Halo 4, and every last cent shows up on the screen. For me, this isn’t just the best Halo, it’s probably the best Xbox game this year and quite possibly, the best video game on any platform as well. Halo 4 surprises, delights and kicks some serious ass and it suddenly makes the wait for Halo 5 on the next-generation Xbox a lot harder. Master Chief is back baby…
One of the most anticipated game for 2012 is directly a title to give this game. As a long time Halo fan, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! This is so far one of the greatest Halo games I have ever played period! It features an enticing Campaign mode that adds in new and old elements to the Halo franchise, an all new cooperative mode known as "Spartan Ops' which enables you to party up with friends or other players to complete missions revolving around the aftermath of Halo 4 campaign as well as a bridge to Halo 5, and an amazing online multiplayer that brings back a new play style while keeping that Halo feel. The game has really good elements added into it that makes this one of the best games I have played.
Halo 4 is one of the best looking game that have been created for the xbox platform. Levels changes from giant looking creatures to tiny little creatures that player has to constantly kill.
The overall of the multiplayer section is at a very fast pace. Players has many options: capture the flag, king of the hill, team deathmatch, and deathmatch.
The single player campaign is beautiful to behold, but it’s too short and can get a bit scripted and repetitive at times.
the vehicle part includes the Scorpion tank, a Warthog, Scarab; and Banshee assault vehicles keep things interesting, especially in the co-op mode friends can pitch in and handle turrets.
The game’s inherent weapons balance flaws by great enemy AI and combat tactics.
Make no mistake, Halo 4 is a very good game by itself, but its lack of innovation, linear gameplay, short SP campaign, a standard multiplayer mode to get the complete Halo experience prevents it from copying the the best game which is Halo 3.
I purchased the "limited edition" on November 6th, 2012 when HALO 4 first came out. I have been playing it ever since! The story mode was not only challenging on Heroic difficulty (I haven't beaten it on Legendary, yet) but in my opinion, the Multiplayer aspect of HALO 4 is the best multiplayer experience I have had, yet!!! And I have bought and played ALL of the Halo games, starting at Halo Combat Evolved ( Halo 1 ) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME, if you are a first-person-shooter video-gamer and enjoy online competition, however you will need to also purchase an Xbox LIVE GOLD subscription to participate in online Multiplayer battles... HALO 4 IS THE BEST HALO YET!!! (This is my 2nd copy I have purchased, so that my little brother will be able to play with/against me, online)
