Overall, the phone is amazing for a purchase to anyone.

Pros: The HTC One S is an amazing phone and one of the best on the market as of now. Everything runs smooth and fast thanks to it's powerful processors, RAM, Android 4.0 OS and Super AMOLED display. The display isn't the best on the market BUT it surely is stunning with bright colors and great contrast. The battery life is also pretty amazing too as it's standby time doesn't require too much power thus making power drainage very low; even while you are doing a task on the phone, it's power doesn't drain so quickly compared to other phone's on the market so that's a plus. It runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS which makes the phone stand out from the others in the market as it can do tons more than phones with later versions of Android OS's such as face unlock and people hub. The camera on the phone is also quite amazing as the duration to take pictures is like half a second plus with a high resolution result. Same goes with the camcorder portion of the phone which takes video at 1080p with 60fps which becomes an eye candy as soon as you watch your videos. The front facing camera/camcorder is also stunning too. Microphone and speaker of the phone is quite amazing too. Another feature that I love SO much is the Beats by Dre integration as I love listening to music everyday and the integration feature makes it sound even better. Overall the features, easy of use, and battery life makes the phone amazing for everyone.

Cons: The phone is made out of somewhat cheap material. The back of the phone can change to a darker color mostly due to the moisture of your fingers and palms. I have also dropped the phone accidentally over EXTREMELY minor fall distances and I have already started seeing some white spots on the phone appear which makes the color of the phone look tacky. Also I have seen that the back of the phone gets hot quite regularly doing tasks such as playing games or multitasking with several apps at once in general and it becomes EXTREMELY annoying. Having said all that, a case would make a fine investment as a must. Lastly is that the on screen touch keyboard of the phone is HORRIBLE in every way and it's horrible to even ATTEMPT to get used to so you'd have to buy/download a third-party keyboard app from the Google Play Store.

Excellent good looking phone with bunch of features, but Skype is BAD!

I used this phone for a few months and I think I can tell some good and bad things about it. I am a HTC consumer for a long time and I like the HTC ONE S design. It's really sleek and with nice protective cover on it, it will still look thin and sexy device. Screen is great, cameras working like a charm too. If you like to shoot like crazy like I do, you will like the video and camera features. Many of my best photos are taken on this phone.
Audio is superb compared to other devices on the market. I do have Beats ear buds so I did experienced great sound all the time. Still couldn't make Beats Audio to work with my internet streaming radio apps, but I heard there is a workaround for that. Anyway sound is like you're in the club, and I listen to electronic deep soulful house music with deep basses plus instruments and vocals. Battery life wasn't bad for my taste, I use it a lot so I figured out if it can last whole day - great, and it was. I think the best thing is CPU since phone is flying through menus as it should. Everything that you want, you can do it with this phone, except one thing. You cannot Skype normally, sound is awful! Crackling all the time, cameras? Heh, forget about it, if you're lucky. So, Skype fans - skip it !

Don't thing.... JUST BUY IT...it's worth it !

The best phone on the market so far.Everything running nice and smooth. Very good graphics on Android ( soon will be update to latest Jelly Bean 4.0.3). I love it , my best phone ...so far.And the BEATS Sound by Dr.Dre is very good when connected to devices.I had to buy Beats/Monsters earphones to have full experience. The only thing is the battery drained fast ( need to be charged every night)but all new smart phones got this issue , specially powerful and with futures like this.

amazing phone, great quality build , really thin in fact so thin I had to buy a case so that I could hold it with ease, really sharp and fast camera with amazing HD video recording and stereo sound, screen is beautiful and the cpu makes the phone quite fast. What else can i say...I love the HTC sense and i dont even need to root it anymore because the design that HTC comes with satisfies all my need and guess what it has BEAT audio built in so expect amazing sound quality using your headphones.

I bought this product because when I'm search about this product before buying,It seems quality Built and perfect weight and quality display.
After I got ma item,I'm really wondering about this product.It is really thinnest Smart phone I ever used.Previously I used Nokia E7.Comparing with it,HTC One S is superb.

There is one thin I don't like,It is there is no any feature to expand storage capacity externally,such as using memory card with it.
