Overall
This is great Windows Mobile smartphone. As with all post 2008 smartphones for Verizon you MUST pay for a data plan to activate this phone on your line. Compared to the iPhone this is more of a work horse, and iPhone is less productive and more of a lifestyle smartphone. Although they have some of the same features like:
-E-mail integration
-Finger friendly user interface
-Slide to unlock screen
-Start on this phone = the iPhone's springboard
-Tilt functionality (when you tilt the phone the screen tilts with you)
-Threaded text messaging (although WM 6.5 messaging is not as good as iPhone)
Technical
This phone uses HTCs Touch Flo3D user interface, which is pretty smooth and intuitive. The weather app that is built into Touch Flo3D is way better than the iPhone weather app. Windows Mobile 6.5 is overall touch friendly, at least compared to previous Windows Mobile installments. The drawback with this phone is it seems to use up a lot of program memory. Just sitting at the home screen eats up 80-90% of your program memory. This can be fixed however with some tweaking.
This phone is great for productivity, with mobile Office, and easy e-mail integration you can get work done on the fly. School work, review class Power Points, write Word documents and e-mail them, even build Excel spreadsheets. This like other Windows Mobile phones is also great for hardcore PC users. If you like to change everything about your smartphone and customize it, the Imagio will let you do that.
Overall I give it a 8 out of 10.
This phone is great, for the price. I use this phone in Mexico with Telcel, have to say the internet speed is not the best, to be honest is quite slow. for this i configure the 3G network not only the wap GPRS conection. The camera is great, but a little bit slow, the overall functions are ok, but i cames with some apps from verizon that i didnt use a sigle time. the GPS works awesome with Garmin Mobile. i use it to travel the north of Mexico and south of USA with no problem.
Pros:
-Very good overall quality
-Nice keyboard
-In-call automatic speaker activation when you put facing down on a table (with mute control for conferences)
-Dual microphone for noise cancellation
-Stylus sensor, Notes are automatically opened when you pull out the stylus during a call
-Pocket sensor, in your pocket the phone is louder and vibrates
-Independent automatic brightness control for screen and keyboard (based on light conditions)
Cons:
-Resistive touchscreen (no multitouch)
-Windows Mobile feels a little laggy
-No built-in big flash memory (microSD required)

Im the kind of peron that really loves phones and i always research about all the new phones that come out but i chose this one to buy because its features seemed simply amazing. This isnt really a cheap phone, i got this phone for about 389 with the screen covers. This is a european phone and the only things that bothers me is the ac adapter because it works with europe and you can use a coverter to us's outlets but sometimes the currents are too low so i just use the usb cable that comes with it. i really do love the phone because its features are outstanding. It works fine, i use it with att and i got it to avoid the data charges which turned out just great. The internet is good and fast, the browsers are touch friendly. the software on it is very touch friendly and its nice to navigate through it. The camera kind of bothers me because it takes a while to focus and yes it takes sharp images but for some reason mine have been a little blurry but it is a great 5. mp camera. The texting on the phone is great, there are many keyboards to use and different text areas. its easy to contact people and it really is overall an excellent phone. its just lovely! battery life is about one day if you use it extensively and everything else is great. if my username is listed, contact me for any more questions. =D
I had the Motorola Q for the last 4 years and finding a replacement that was windows based and worked as well as my Q was tough. I looked at a lot of phones for over a year. The first time I messed with the Ozone. It was perfect. I could navigate around it and it did everything I needed without complicated menus and searching for things. It is ver close to being like my Q but with the updated operating system and more memory for faster speeds. I like the way it saves text conversations as a chat. So you can see both sides of the conversation and you don't have to try and remember what you said 2 hours ago to someone. The battery life is great. I also use mine tethered to my laptop as my modem and the speed is as fast as DSL anywhere. I lke the buttons on the keypad, I have big fingers and texting or typing an email is easy. I honestly can't think of anything I dont like about this phone. If you're looking for something like a blackberry only better this is the phone.
