I would HIGHLY recommend this phone to anyone!

I upgraded to this from the Blackberry Curve 8530 (anything would be an upgraded that that thing). I am VERY happy with it. It is very user friendly & not complicated at all. I love HTC's & this is one of it's best by far, especially for the price. A lot of people talk about the battery life, but what phone now days doesn't have bad reviews about battery life? It all depends on how much you have running. There are plenty of apps that help out with extending your battery life. The phone responds quickly to your touch & the call quality is fantastic. I love how easy it is to customize. If your looking for a great touch screen phone, look no further then this one. If you've never had a touch screen, then this one is a great way to get used to them.

Excellent Phone, Features, Battery Life POOR.

I finally got rid of the, way behind the times blackberry, in this case Bold, and Purchased the HTC EVO Design 4G. The features on this phone are plentiful. The speed is unreal even when watching live tv or on demand shows from Sprint. Even the touch screen was not as hard to get used to as I thought. The only drawback to this phone, and it is quite significant, is the battery life. It has been well documented but boy its bad. 30-40 mins of surfing around playing and downloading apps and the battery is DEAD. Hopefully this problem will be solved soon with an upgraded battery. I truly feel for blackberry. I've owned at least 5 at one time since as far back as the nextel bleep bleep. I have now gotten rid of the last one I had. They never quite kept up with the competition in terms of screen and operating system. Too bad, because with phones like the HTC EVO Design 4G out there why would anyone own a Blackberry.

in a few words..........JUNK, CRAP, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Piece of crap definitely wouldn't buy another HTC phone nor would I recommend any HTC product to a friends or anyone. Don't buy unless u want a phone with a new problem everyday including but not limited to web browser constantly closing, many apps from Google market don't download or if they do they dont work properly & ½ the time my incoming calls are pushed to voicemail. Also very hard or totally unable to get 4g connection

best phone ever!

This phone is the best phone ever! I switched from a Blackberry, and would never go back again! HTC's are amazing. The battery life kinda sucks, yeah, but there are so many features that it's to be expected, so it's nothing major. I absolutely LOVE this phone & would recommend it to anyone and everyone! :)

A lot better than my old Windows mobile 6.5.3 which is outdated.

Just found out that after I got the phone ,i can upgrade from android 2.3 to 4.0.1 (ice cream sandwich OS), have not figured yet how to import INTERNET favorites & music from old windows mobile 6.5.3 .
I need to fine tune power usage to conserve battery.
I really like this phone as a new phone because the new models like the note 2 & HTC 1 are too much $$$ after your providers rebates.
