I should say this is a very amazing phone that I have bought

HTC Amaze is the first phone that I bought, and admire it so much, very friendly user, very fast, and very easy to access all features. I recommend this phone to my friend, they tried and comepare the operation system by using countdown timer watch and compare to the latest model of other phone highly commercialised phones, they surprised it's amazing, the system operation of HTC Amze 4g is more faster than other phones. and beside it was equip as well an extended memory up to 32 GB, while other are not available. I love this phone very much. Currently Four of my friends are now bought this amaze 4g model.

Battery Drains fast
Internal memory is partitioned, only 2gb for apps
Kinda warm/hot in use

I'm in looooove with it

This device is great. My first smartphone so i maybe biased but I've used Galaxy SII, Galaxy SI and iPhone 4s for brief periods, and this device beats them hands down:
1-Very beautiful, astonishing build quality and a bit heavy (actually I like that).
2-Great large display, better than the iPhone but not better than Galaxy SII, still great and bright.
3-Instant GPS fix.
4-Lightning fast browser, faster than my PC.
5-Very fast all-over, probably due to the powerful processor.
6-HTC sense beats all, very user-friendly and organized well.

Shortcomings
1- I don't know if it is a software bug or a hardware issue, but my sip voip call quality is bad, voice sounds robotic, cellular call quality is great though.
2- Not the best battery life, not the worst though, a bit below average.

Great phone, poor battery life, screen could have better contrast..

qwerty - I love this phone but it has one important shortcoming - the battery. I am shocked that it only lasts 5 or 6 hours when in use. I am not a heavy phone user so I expected it to last at lease a full day. If I don't use it an leave it in my pocket it lasts all day - no problem. But when used for minimal texting and note taking forget it. I suspect the culprit is the LED screen. The Nexus One had an OLED screen.

I bought this phone because my Nexus One did not have enough memory to hold all of the programs I wanted. I also prefer to buy unlocked phones rather than get into a contract. Its much cheaper in the long run that way.

I had to return the first one because the SD card could not be seen nor accessed. The replacement worked perfectly.

BEST THING I EVER BOUGHT.. PERIOD

WHAT GOT ME WAS THE EXTREMELY LARGE SCREEN.. =] IM SO HAPPY I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION TO GET THIS PHONE. I DID THE SOFTWARE UPGRADE TO RUN ANDROID 4.0.1 SO ITS NOW UP TO DATE AND RUNS PRETTY FAST. I ALSO DOWNLOADED A COUPLE APPS TO HELP BRING OUT THE TALENTS OF THIS PHONE.. NO PHONE COMES PERFECT AND PLUS ITS ALWAYS GOOD TO ADD YOUR OWN PERSONAL TOUCH AND FEEL TO IT..

BATTERY LIFE ISN'T AS GOOD AS MY OTHER PHONE BUT A QUICK DOWNLOAD OF THE BATTERY LIFE APP HAS HELPED IMPROVE LIFE BY ABOUT 43% OR YOU CAN ALWAYS GRAB AN EXTENDED BATTERY THAT HELPS AS WELL..
