) I was torn between the Revo and the Savage 4.6. Because I wanted something for everyday bashing, I chose the Savage. I've owned the truck for over six months and it's a beast. Wheelies on command, holds an idle and it's very, very strong. After months of jumps, rolls and overall bashing, I've managed to break only the plastic nylon gears in the steering servo and a stripped spur gear. Awesome truck.

My Savage dont has a 4.9.........its a unbelievable 5.9....much more fast....much more fun.

R C truck was pretty much what I expected slightly more used than described

Best toy ever! This thing is dangerously fast. You need a really good size place to have fun with it.
The only problem, I've really had, was replacing the servos. They're really cheap plastic, and just shredded right out, but that's probably because I was running it in snow and ice.
Also, it took me awhile to find the right Spur Gear and Clutch bell setup, because the stocks are really cheap, and just melt away. (I went with racing spur and HARDENED VENTED racing Clutch Bell that have been going strong for a couple gallons through now.)
I've been running this thing for about 6 months, and haven't had any other issues. I did blow out a differential though, but that's because I didn't do any maintenance on it, and I was revving the throttle at landing impact which is a big no-no.
I was a complete noob when I bought this, but this awesome truck has allowed me to have fun, and learn the hobby.
Get One!!!

My feedback is very positive, this monster truck is very strong and powerful.
The plastic parts are very resistant in contrast to what one can penser.son maintenance is very easy even for beginners and more there are forums dedicated to it.
I recommend it without hesitation.
