The HP Photosmart e-All-in-One D110a's interactive touch screen adds Web connectivity to the standard print, copy, and scan functions, at a lower price than other HP ePrint-connected devices.
Print speeds are languid and the smaller paper input capacity makes it a hassle to refill for bigger households. You also must have a wireless connection to use the D110 to its fullest potential.
We wouldn't recommend it for high-output households or large offices, but the HP Photosmart D110a provides inexpensive access to HP's clever new ePrint and Web-connected apps.

This was the first wireless printer I bought, so I didn't know what to expect. I unpacked it, plugged it in, followed the on screen menus (on the printer), and that's it - I was printing. It literally took less than 30 minutes to set this up to print from 4 different computers (linux, pc, mac) and iphones. Nice product. The printing seems good, though I am not one to print photos and such. For my general household printing purposes, it is a wonderful product. I even downloaded the drivers from HP for my eepc and it worked seamlessly. I can shove the printer in a closet and not worry about it working. And I like that the ink jet cartridges are the less expensive HP60's. Perfect printer for the typical home. Great job HP
Like ALL of the product offerings from HP these days, this is another update of an existing machine, juiced up a little with wi-fi capability, and of course necessitating the purchase of HP ink cartridge refills. The basic features of this machine meet the minimum standards required merely by being competitive in a very crowded market. The major incentive for purchasing this machine is that the number of negative issues EXPERIENCED is slightly lower than the negative issues described by the owners of other brands. At the bottom line, if you attempt to refill the cartridges yourself, despite the fact that the United States Department of Commerce has passed legislation mandating that these printers actually WORK if OEM cartridges are NOT used... you will experience endless difficulties with the setup and operation of this HP machine if you refuse to buy, and insert, their ink cartridge replacements, for which will you will pay at the rate of approximately $550.00 per gallon for HP ink! If you call that fair, I have a bridge in New York City I would like to sell you!
I just installed an HP D110a photosmart printer and so far I think it's great. It was very simple to install (just insert disk and follow promps)even for a tech challenged person like me. The wireless feature is convenient and I'm sure I will use internet apps this printer accesses. For the money it's hard to beat. My first photo print came out beautifully with very accurate color. I would highly recommend this printer. Oh, and by the way it's not noisey at all as I had read in other reviews. Thumbs up.
I'm a linux guy so I dont know anything about MS compatibility.
It took some research (and command lines) to get hardware/software up and running. The scanner, copier, and printer all work at the level of a $69 inkjet :) The print quality is good but you ll be twiddling your thumbs, as the HP prints about 5 PPM. Take your large volume print jobs to work :)
I connected to Wireless in less than 2 minutes - I proceeded to put the usb cable into the closet.
The Black finish, which helps in updating my room decor, matches my speakers and monitor.
The price was right and the performance should be typical HP - I have a 932C that still works - 10 years later.
I've got a feeling the replacement ink (HP 60) will cost more than I expect to pay, but we all know thats how HP makes the scrill.
The bottom line, part 2, is that the printer is better than I expected...lots of value for the money.
Peace.
This printer is great! The wireless printing is awesome, I can be anywhere in my house with my laptop and I can print out whatever I'd like by pressing a key. It has so many features...to name a few, aside from wireless printing, it is also capable of scanning, and copying. As well as printing via email, and from your cell phone! I have yet to print from my phone but I look forward to using that feature. I definitely recommend this printer to anyone who needs a quality printer for everyday use and more. It was a great price as well.
