I myself hat least none that I couldnaving owned several have had very few problems that I couldn't solve.
The only thing I don't care for is the fact that their video cards are built in, but then HP isn't the only one.

) The HP Pavilion ZV5000 laptop is a very good laptop in 2004 but at todays's standard it wouldn't cut the mustard. I bought this used one for parts only to keep my current laptop up and running.
Not lightweight but,works and sounds great!!

) The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 is this laptop is heavy. That would be the ONLY con.
The one thing that is outstanding, for a laptop this thing sounds GREAT!! The front speakers sound good and the volume some times louder then I need, (not a bad thing).
It has 2 cooling fans & and out-vent but, I still use a cooling platform. It's not a cheap built laptop.
It's also thick so, keep that in mind when looking to get a case or bag to carry it in.
The top part locks into place unlike most laptops, nice.
Well, 1 other con... NO number keys on the right. No biggy though.
Plenty of outputs, it has 3 usb ports, can hook it up to a tv, headphone jack, ect.
Plays video clearly and looks good.
I'm not sure what year they made these but, I really like mine.

This laptop has features that are truelly power in their function. From the speed of the processer to the presence of the sound performance. This unit hits all the areas that are important to the user. A thumbs way up!
