Wouldn't Buy This One Again

I purchased a new unit at a good price. Unfortunately, the scanner was defective right out of the box, so none of the device functions would work. I had to contact HP via phone, spend quite a bit of time trying to troubleshoot w/tech support, arrange for a replacement (which had a tag on it which said 'refurbished' vs. new). Also, the paper tray has a design flaw in that a) it loosely mates to the printer frame, b) will fall out if lightly brushed and c) break. Print quality is good but ink consumption seems relatively high & HP replacement cartridges aren't exactly inexpensive.

HP 4500 Officejet Printer

I couldn't be happier with this printer. Even tho is uses the same tray for paper as well as printed pages, it is a great printer. Easy to use, and fast good print. I prefer HP Printers. They are user friendly and dependable.

Best Value for the Price!!!

I was looking for an inexpensive All-In-One printer.
I searched Dell other HP's and this one fit the bill.
It has all the quality and functions of most ultra-expensive All-In-Ones.
Its wireless has fax capabilities, scan, copy, print in color and B&W.
Functions are easy to understand and has power saver.
I really like that it has a small footprint excellent for setting on a home office bookshelf.
Set up was extremely easy and linked right up to my wireless.
Overall I’m pleased with purchase (one week into it) and can't complain about the price, (less than $60.00).
The only thing I don't like is the paper feed is located in the front of the unit and doesn't hold as much paper as I would like it would be great to incorporate a coffee maker as well to truly make it an All-In-One =).

It's a no brainer-HP Officejet Printer is reliable, flexible & affordable!

I have had a few "name brand" printers, but have literally fallen in love with the HP Officejet 4500 G510n-z. It was easy to unpack, set up, put in the ink and have the "option" to use it either wireless or with a USB cable. It was up and running in less than 20 minutes and is great not only for a home office but also for a small business office. It's a great price for what you get. The only down side of it has been the use of the ink, especially the black ink. It drinks it up like my baby SUV drinks up $4 a gallon gas. My solution is to print on "greyscale" so as not to use up the color ink with ordinary printing and my next purchase will be to order the 901XL black cartridge which can print up to 700 black copies per cartridge. Other than the ink usage, it's easy to use, run, copy, fax, scan & cancel documents. When you have all this, what more do you need in a printer!

Awesome Product!!! This was definitely an upgrade from my old HP Printer...

I bought this all-in-one printer so I could combine 2 bulky items into one, to consolidate space in my home office. I've always had HP Products and both my previous fax machine and printer are HP's as well. This was definitely an Upgrade. The printing speed is phenomenal and the on-screen set-up program made the installation process a breeze. What made this purchase even better was the amazingly low price for such a great value. I love this printer!!!
