This HP IPAQ 1910 is my brains!

I bought the 1910 for scheduling appointments and it has been great for that, and links directly to my desktop with a cradle so that syncing is automatic. It has Windows on it so I can use my Office programss on it (Word, Excel or transport files from office to home. I write notes to myself on it (you can write in the Notes program instead of using scraps of paper- so all can be centralized and not lost. Of course there are all the PDA programs- Contacts, Inbox for emails, Tasks, Internet Explorer, Infrared and wireless connect ( I haven't ever used this yet), calculator. On my flash storage card I keep other programs, such as a map program, a medical dictionary, a medication reference program, an Ebook reader (with several books to read when I get somewhere and have to wait- I can read a novel)and there are of course other endless things I can store and then print out or view wherever I am, such as a copy of my Vita! and many other programs that can be used on this Windows platform. I love this IPAQ 1910- it really is my brains as I am a healthcare practitioner and roam the hospital, making appointments and notes on the run all the time- no bulky appointment books needed or wanted when you are on the run constantly- then I update my desktop when in the office. Highly recommended!

The truth about The IPAQ POCKET PC H1910

I dicided to buy this to help with my business and ebay business.I was severly dissapointed that it is so hard to use Internet Explorer ,but pocket exel and word are great. These are the 2 features that I like. The calc app. and solitaire are decent. For a couple bucks thought this was an okay item.It is not worth paying over $30 USD for.It is like DOS or Linux compared to the new Ipaq's.This is DOS and the newer versions are like XP and Vista. My friend's Ipaq can do his Algerbra homework in 2 seconds. It has exellent apps. This Ipaq resets whenever the battery comes out.It also cannot remember PIN's.Don't ever set a numerical password because it will lock you out .You can reset it by taking out the battery.

Cadillac of Older Handhelds

The HP has been called the Cadillac of the Pocket PC's and with good reason. It's MUCH smaller than most with the same size screen and it look great with the slick leather case. It's almost as small as my cell phone and fits conveniently just about everywhere.

The software is outdated and not upgradeable so you cant run most software published after 2005. However, you can usually find the 2005 or earlier version on the internet and if you're new to pocket PC's it should do everything you need it to do.

I purchased this primarily because of the price and I was told that if you use Outlook regularly you should switch from Palm to Pocket PC. That was the best advice I've gotten on handhelds. I do plan to purchase a new handheld within the next year but for now, I am very happy with this model.

HP iPAQ Pocket PC

I bought this to replace an HP Ipaq 3200 series that was given to me as a gift and was eventually stolen. I loved the 3200. This unit was okay, but not any better than a palm pilot that I owned several years ago. However. The color is great and the memory is very adequate. In order to use as an MP3 player you need a separate memory card so I can't rate the quality on that. Buying this used caused some problems that might prevent me from ordering again : took a month to get it. Was very scratched on the case (screen was fine) and it didn't come with any cables as indicated in the description.

Little small for my big hands, but a great tool

There are 3 iPAQs in my family, an older 3950, the H1910 and a 2215. The H1910 feels the smallest and lightest, yet still has a great sized screen. The stylus is so thin that it is difficult to hold for long time periods with larger hands, but it fits a woman's hands just fine.

This unit looks the most delicate of the 3 I own due to its thin design, but it feels solid.

The replaceable battery is great, and the charging base that charges 2 batteries at once is fantastic.

Great little unit if you need a basic PDA
