It serves its purpose. I don't know to what degree webcams differ. lol. It functioned exactly as I would have expected although there were some issues to do with focusing, but that isn't crucial for my purposes. Not making a movie or anything. lol.

For the 20 something dollars I spent the camera does what was promised the internal mic leaves a little to be desired but all in all worth giving it a try.
bought a lot of 10, the microphone on this model is very weak, some didn't work at all, the picture quality is ok, but it froze my laptop when I tested it with Microsoft MovieMaker...
