Graco Nautilus 3-in 1 Convertible Car Seat

We're very happy with our Graco Nautilus. We've been using it for over a month now and my 3 year old daughter loves it. She is very comfortable in it (I know because she brings it up all of the time!) and she loves the cup holder and little cubbies in the side where she can put her "treasures". The entire seat is easy to change to larger positions; the straps are easy to manuever and the headrest glides up with push of a button. This will (finally!) be the last car seat that we need because of the sizes that it accomodates and the fact that it converts to a booster seat. My only complaint is the weight of it. It's pretty heavy and difficult to change from car to car. But, then again, the heavy weight also makes me feel like it's very stable and safe. It's not much of a complaint!

Although this seat can be used from 1 yr AND 20lbs your child is 5 times safer in a rear facing seat! That being said, this is an amazing seat for bigger toddlers. It will hols your child safely in the harness until they are about 7 or 8 years old. It turns into a *good booster and then a no back booster as well. This is truly the last seat you will ever need to buy. I recoomend purchasing it when your child is 3 because the harnessed seat and high babck booster expire after 6 years, and the backless booster is good for 9. That way your child can be properly retrained until age 12, when the hip bones mature.

I have several car seats and this is by far my favorite, even over my twice as expensive Britax. This seat is very easy to install and the directions are clear. We love the cupholder becasue it is molded and fits several sizes of cups and it is placed facing forward rather than off to the side. The sides are like armrest and my daughter thinks she is queen when she gets in this seat, there are also small storage areas in the armrests. Not much good for me but my duaghter like to stick her little trinkets and such in there. She's happy, I'm happy. The fact that she can use this seat until she outgrows the need for a child restraint make this a winner as well. Overall, my daughter looks and feels comfortable in this seat. It protects her without enveloping her. We are planning on purchasing a second one ASAP.

I was really in the market for a BRITAX seat ( I do own 3 BRITAX ) but a friend told me that she had just bought the Graco Nautilus. She loved it and so did her kids. After checking out the prices ( Over half the price! ) I decided to give it a go. It is every bit as nice as the Britax and in some repects even nicer! My daughter loves the storage compartments for her goodies and the cup holder is a must - something that is missing on the similar Britax. I love the fabric and sleek design. And the obvious plus is that it will take your kids from traditional car seat to booster! Great value and superior quality!!!

I purchased this particular car seat after my granddaughter had out grown her original Graco SnugRide Seat. After receiving & using the seat for one week, I ordered another one for my own use in my car. This seat is simply excellent quality equipment!! The 3-in 1 system makes this the last seat I will ever have to buy for my granddaughter. She enjoys her seat immensley & the little cup holder is idea for her lil sippies. I did reasearch this seat before buying the first one & it has passed all safety ratings too. The cost is very reasonable, as well. I would reccommend this seat to anyone!!
