I was flipping through the channels one day and stumbled across Good Times, within that one episode, I was hooked. I got online and found that seasons 1-6 were available on DVD. I first purchased Good Times Season One. The show is reality, truth, and hard times that affected people of the 1970's. I highly recommend this series. It's heartfelt, funny, and addicting.
Funny sitcom about a black family living in the Chicago projects during the 1970's. Spinoff from Maude.
It's Funny,Remember watching this as a youngster! JJ,Thelma and of Course James is worth watching! Was real life from the ghetto of chicago going on for you to understand the struggles of everyday life of paying bills and raising three kids!
Had forgotten about the series wanted to get re-aquainted. Remember why I forgot about the series. Although funny at intervals...kinda of depressing as the family never quite seem to get ahead EVER regardless of the circumstances. I see why James left. Florida should have stayed with the Findleys on Maude.
I love Good Times! I remember watching it as a kid in the 70's and I still laugh as if it was the first time I saw it!
