Movie synopsis

gladiator,1 hell of a ride,blood,violence,entertainment

this one is a must see ,russell crowe at his best as an actor,ridley scott with fine directing.just a great film that was put together by superb costuming and a wonderful sound score.the movie has it all,love,hate,betrayal,revenge​,violence,but no sex.all in a nut shell,this is a must have in your blu ray collection next to bruce lee and al pacino

Gladiator , Russel Crowe ,A Must for Collectors

Ridley Scott Direction, His movies all sound great , music scores are fabulous. Maximus played by Russel Crowe is on spot as the betrayed General.
Loads of Action, wars, sword fighting, intrigue . Scenery is Fabulous. Blu-ray and DTS Master Audio is mindblowing awsome dude !

Great Classic Movie! Best in HD

I am reviewing the Blu Ray version of this movie. The movie by itself is a awesome tail of betrayal, revenge and the Hero overcoming adversity. I have read reviews about the Blu-Ray version saying that the movie wasn't as good of quality that they expected from 1080 resolution. I beg to differ. Hi-def is always the way to go, not only is the picture and contrast more crisp but the sound is un-matched from its dvd format. On top of all this, the bonus features are great and the fact that this is a director's cut I noticed new scenes that I have never seen before. Scenes that should have never been cut, they really add depth to Ceasar's sinical behavior and mentallity. I am glad i purchased this and would reccomend it for anyone who has it on dvd and wants to upgrade. Hopefully this will help you.

AMAZING movie that got better! Sapphire Edition is awesome!

Bought this item even though I owned the DVD and GLAD I did. It is AMAZING. Some Blu Ray movies do not look as good as I expected but this one blew me away! The sound is AMAZING and the extended version is kind of cool also! There is not a better movie to watch on a LED!

Much better than the previous version.

Audio quality is the same as the first Blu-Ray release. However, the video is way better in term of color contrast and vividness. The old version just look plain and flat.
