Gibson always a big hit
Created: 12/17/10
I have owned several acoustic guitars during my years of playing. I buy one, play it while I faithfully put money away to trade up. I finally got to the point to be able to trade up to a Gibson Sonwriter Deluxe Studio. MAN.... What an awesome guitar. Unfortunately I still couldn't get the 2010 J200 Studio, whick is larger and has a booming sound, but this 2004 Studio is all the guitar I will ever need. I profess that I will never reach professional status and play live shows due to my advanced age before learning. However, I will have a chance as I do now to join other musicians in jam sessions and fun get togethers. This guitar has a full rich sound, great feel, comfortable size, and awesome looks. The ebony fingerboard with the MOP inlays is simply beautiful and lightening fast. It has low action with no fret buzz and plugged in it is a monster of tone. I played the Martins, Taylers, and Breedloves and I just fell in love with the sound of the Gibson. I recommend that you always try out many brands and models before you buy a guitar, as each has its own feel and personality. But for the money spent, this Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Studio is a 4 out of 5 star guiar with only the 2010 J200 model surpassing it. Live long, play hard. Peace, Love, and Rock n Roll....
