Nice try, comes up short on Wii

Created: 12/12/09
Why did I buy this game? Nastalgia from the original movie, Wii Motion gameplay that would include my 5 yr old son and I playing together and price point through eBay.

First, I am aware that the Wii is not supposed to be a graphics intensive machine. HOWEVER, the graphics quality of this game, on the Wii, still fell below expectation. Blocky characters looked as bad as the V.Tech (V.Smile) games.

Also, the Wii motions are repetitive and boring and the split screen for 2 players (on a 46" HD projection) is difficult to watch in order to follow the action in the game.

Furthermore, character movement is confusing and clumsy, much like any Resident Evil game...which IMHO is not good.

Lastly, the game has been on the shelf since first playing and hasn't moved since. Stick with Wii Sports (and Sports Resort) and any of the Mario Bros. games for entertainment on the Wii. Get an Xbox 360 for fun 1st person gaming.

Ghosbusters video game for Wii

Created: 07/05/09
I love that the characters in the game are voiced by Bill Murray, Dan Akroid, and Harold Ramos. The dialog is witty & keeps it interesting for those not playing. The game is relatively simple- find the hidden objects, use your PKE meter to sniff out the ghots, and untimately trap them. I bought this one for my husband's birthday, and the whole family has been enjoying it- even my 6 year old daughter!

This game is alot like the movie. It's fun to play. My six year old and I spend alot of time playing our Wii. I have since ordered the Ghostbusters movies for my daughter to watch. It was always one of my favorite movies growing up.

Im a big fan of the Ghostbuster movies. Having all the original cast in the game is a real treat. It takes you back to familiar places in the movies. Gameplay is smooth and not to difficult. Ghosts get harder to catch as you move on in the game. Great game if you love the ghostbusters.

Great throwback to the classic films

Created: 09/24/10
This game has been a fantastic throwback to the amazing-ness of the Ghostbusters films. All the original actors are back providing voice work (even including Walter Peck from the first film), and the music is taken directly from the film soundtracks. Lots of references in the dialogue to various things from the films (obviously) which have made me laugh several times. Overall, I have been very pleased with the game so far.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is even a casual fan of the original movies.
