Gears of War 3 (Xbox 360, 2011)

With survivors scattered and civilization in ruins, time is running out for Delta Squad in this spectacular conclusion to one of the most celebrated sagas in video games. Gears of War 3 allows you to play in the biggest-ever Gears campaign solo, two player split-screen or with four players live. Horde and beast modes deliver the ultimate co-op experience. Overall the one of the best games to come out this year. It winds up the story with a little bit of a disappointment, but overall it delivers all the way for the die hard Gears fans. A definite must play in my book.

I bought this game due to the fact that I have bought the previous two installments and enjoyed a superior polished experience. Both previous games haven't missed a beat to this day as their graphics and gameplay are well ahead of their time. Having played Gears 3 I expected another fun and polished game and I haven't been disappointed. Having said that this is probably the weakest gears in the trilogy but it isn't so by much. It offers the biggest suite of gametypes to play from the arcade campaign mode to the new and improved horde to the multiplayer and then to the new beast mode, Gears of War 3 is rightfully rated as the #1 shooter of the year. As long as you played and like any of the previous Gears or can stand third person shooters, you will have a hell of a ride. I personally recommend this to anybody who has an xbox 360 and likes shooters.

Gears of war is back for another game to end the amazing Trilogy on the world of Sera. This long awaited 3rd part is everything it was hyped up to be. The graphics are crisper than ever, the weapons are with even more variety than ever, environments shuffle more than ever and the story goes more in depth than it has in the previous games. To say the least, Epic stuck a home run a third time and delivered us gamers a thrilling sequel to a sequel.
Multi-player is revamped with more options on modes, achievements and game play. After months you'll feel as if you still haven't done it all, Gears of War 3 is a MUST OWN for any gamers collection.

Good work on the graphics, clean UI experience. Fair amount of unwarranted language. Some gore, but nothing that exceeds the previous game. 1st person shooter best of the year? No it isn't , but worthy of the game library.
