Garmin nuvi 660 Automotive GPS Receiver

The Garmin 660 is a great tool for anyone that does a lot of traveling.Great for truckers or local delivery with it's changeable settings for the type of vehicle you are in.You can set it for bicycle,motorcycle,car,truck,m​otor-home,and it will pick out the best roads for you to take.Large enough screen so you can easily see it and read it and I especially like the feature where you can bring it through your FM stereo wireless.This feature is great when your in a noisy vehicle.Set it for FM broadcast,dial in your stereo, and turn it up as loud as you want.It will get you right to the driveway of where you are going.The voice prompts let you know in advance where you have to turn at and then tells you again when you get to .2 mi. from your turn,then tells you again at 300 ft. from turn.You don't even have to look at the screen,just listen to it.I highly recommend this GPS to anybody that travels.

I feel much more secure now that I have a decent GPS. I've heard good things about Garmin, so that's the brand I decided to go with, and I lucked out with the model that I wanted. Finding it on Ebay for cheap! :)

The only thing that I don't love about it is that sometimes it seems to freeze if it's not warmed up much. And, it needs to be updated frequently for the amount of travel I will be doing with it, since if there's roadwork or detours, it doesn't know, and doesn't easily give me alternate routes. That would be a great feature.... To be able to click a button letting the machine know there's a detour at a specific place so it can easily help find an alternate route.

But really, I love this thing. And folks are right. Garmin is the best!!

I purchased this system over ebay and just got to play with it today. I absolutely love it! You can download different vehicles from the garmin website and much more! Even yoda's voice! It has mp3 and jpg picture display for when you know where you're going! Also my favorite feature is the BLUETOOTH you can setup your phone and answer calls hands free thru the Nuvi and never touch your phone. All in all even though this item is discontinued it is totally the best used GPS system for the price.

I bought my GPS used and checked (certified). I paid a quarter of the original price. It has everything I could ever use built in. It is responsive, accurate, and easy to use. The only thing I disliked, was that I HAD TO update it at an some extra expense. Besides that, I LOVE my Garmin!

It's so easy to use right out the box. It's fast to recalculate and anything else. There is also a good safety feature that prohibits a driver from using some features while going down the road. A great product!
