"You get what you pay for"

No, I would not recommend this product.

The Garmin nuvi50 Gps appeared to be a great buy @ $79.99, but the old saying "you get what you pay for" played true here. Don't assume that a new Garmin GPS will have Life Time maps included. Big mistake on my part. Went on line to puchase map updates & the cost of a "One Time" update after discount was $49.95. The "Life Time" update was $79.95. I was told there was a restocking fee of $10.00 to return plus shipment. So Buyer be Aware, don't assume new Garmin GPS's include map updates.

Tough to program, Easy to use

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Without written user instructions, initially the GPS was difficult to figure out how to program. It was necessary for me to call the manufacturer for detailed programming information. Once the programming was completed, however, the GPS provided all the benefits promised, including increasingly easy use of applications.

today you can get directions from several sources, but for me nothing beats the dedicated Garmin, easy to use, and easy to see and follow.

Excellent product!! I wish I had bought it sooner.

I bought this to help me with my new job and also to help navigate around a new city. I have yet to enter a destination that my Garmin hasn't been completely accurate. This Garmin gives me ample notice before turns or exits.
