I like it!! Very good for this price

I have HP IPAQ which I absolutely love. Garmin is good as well but not a lot of features that i have in HP.
I like this product for its simplicity to find roots with less number of key strokes.
I was also amazed that it can connect to satellite even inside the home. really fast connection on road.

Extra capablities truly an extra

Besides the GPS aiding in finding locations when traveling. The hands free bluetooth phone capability is worth the price of the 265WT all by itself. The ease of operation is only outdone by it's clarity both ways when calling. So not only is the Garmin an excellent tool when taking a journey in unfamiliar territory, but a huge safety advantage while driving your car. If you must drive and be on the phone you owe it to yourself, your family and those traveling in other vehicles which might be affected by your inattention the job at hand.

This only scratches the surface of the features which I just keep finding more of each day.

If there is any thing to be said critical of the 265WT it would be the lack of a good manual offering a clear and concise explanation of the product features and how they work. Oh well it's fun finding new innovations every day.

Excellent product for the money!

I travel on a regular basis and have always been borrowing my friend's Garmin GPS. I've always wanted to get my own, but its cost prevented me from doing so...I finally bit the bullet and decided to get a used one from eBay. I decided to get a Garmin because I was familiar with using it and based on my friend's unit thought that it was a very good product. Before I bought it however, I did some research and found that indeed Garmins were Excellent products! When I ordered and received my Garmin nuvi 265W and used it on my recent trips to Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA, everything worked perfect. It was very easy to use, plus satellite hook up was fast. Just an EXCELLENT product for the money!

The instruction manual was very simple but a bit too simple, it does not go into details of how to use everything; however, the GPS itself is very user friendly. The features are good, the signal strength is great eventhough I first powered on at home inside of a CBS building...everything work well. Garmin included first software update for free with you registering the unit. I love this GPS!
