    Review For: General Imaging GE A1255 12.2 MP Digital Camera - Black

    Bought as a Christmas present for wifey and boy does she love it!! Although refurbished I can find nothing I don't like about this camera. The manual is on CD of course and unless the photo edit/print software is needed there is no reason to use the drivers if a card reader is used instead under W7-W8 that I can see. With a just under 3" lcd, 12megaapixel and 8x zoom this camera is more than adequate for the casual photographer. The camera has plenty of options to cover almost any photo experience. The lcd recharge rate and picture save is fairly fast with well charged batteries and the photos look great, even professional, when printed on good quality photo paper.
    I chose this particular camera after shopping for weeks and am glad I did. Great price, beautiful results, fairly fast for a medium priced digital camera, everything I hope for in a camera overall. It does not come with a case included so if this is your first or a replacement a case should be purchased also.

    Nice little camera. Great value for the money. I always recommend buying used rather than buying new. With a little research and tlc you get the same results as from a new item. So far this is the 2nd camera that I've bought used with no problems. I bought the first one as a gift and the second one for myself. This camera does everything that my husbands new big expensive Fuji Finepix 3200 does. It has all the same specifications. Except the zoom lens, this is a 5x zoom. The bottom line is that it takes great pictures.
