Fujitsu Stylistic ST5112 80GB, Wi-Fi, 12.1in - Silver

I purchased this tablet PC because my brother raved about his so much. He carries his around the house with him, and uses it to control what he sees on his large TVs. He computes, Emails, watches media, and checks the stock market anywhere in his house. So I purchased one for the same application. It worked OK on Windows XP, but the appearance was not acceptable for a gift to family members. It was exchanged for a very nice looking one, but it didn't work properly. The seller sent a new hard drive which I installed (quite easy to do), and I am very satisfied now. It is a pleasure to deal with a seller who responds quickly to address any issues, and really tries to satisfy their customers. Now I intend to install Windows 7 in this and all my other computers, and have them share most everything on my home network (like my brother did). Will probably purchase an additional unit or two as gifts. Great product and great bang for the buck.

What a great computer! It can do so much more than I dreamed possible. The battery lasts an incredibly long time. The battery lasts 6 hours or more. There is Journal, a snipping tool - all work great with the pen-enabling. It has a nifty drawing program, too I am trying Microsoft office 2010, and it has pen capabilities that work perfectly with this tablet.The sloppier I write, the better it recognizes my writing! You can write in cursive or print - you do not have to do one letter at a time like my old Palm Pilot. This is powerful enough to run Windows 7, if I wanted to. It is the size of a clipboard and I can carry it around, show clients web sites while we are talking, and even write them lists, or draw a concept while talking. This has keen very helpful in my counseling practice. Another feature is that I have been able to convert PDF to Word or to One Note and fill them out. I can even sign with my real signature. Ilihe having a paperless office. I recommend this computer and look forward to using it for a long time.

Great size. As a student it's perfect for writing notes and pulling up documents in class. I upgraded the RAM to the max (4gb) and it is now almost as powerful as my desktop. Windows grabs most of the drivers for you, which is great. I'd still install the Fujitsu drivers though to get the full experience. Also, if you're going to upgrade the OS to Windows 7, do the 32 bit, not 64 bit. Most of the 32 bit drivers will work, except for the side hardware buttons. You have to find 3rd party drivers for them, which took me a good two hours of Google-ing. The only problem I've run into so far is a quiet, high-pitch squealing coming from inside. I need to get that figured out... Awesome bang for the buck.

I purchased this item because I wanted a PC that could offer me the flexibility of a tablet with all of the abilities of Windows. I have several tablets (android and Windows) including two convertables to compare to. This tablet has been upgraded to a larger harddrive, more RAM, and Windows 7 Ultimate. I know that it can handle the obvious business applications so I tested it as a gaming machine. Naturally it is not going to handle the newer extreme 3d graphics of today but it does handle my Steam account very well as all of the Half-Life series seem to run on it as well as DOOM 3, Stronghold Crusader, etc. I am very impressed with its rendering ability and smooth gameplay. Does very well with music videos too. It is not as powerful as my Gateway M285, but weighs a lot less and does very well for a dedicated tablet PC. I recommend the docking station as it makes a very good desktop PC and a bump case or bag for travel. Battery life is good and is hot swappable. Batteries are readily available and inexpensive. Easily upgraded for very little cost. I may eventually switch to an ssd in the future for even more speed and intend to add a GPS module in PC slot and use it in my RV.
