| Discover nature with the Fujifilm HS25EXR / HS28EXR. A wide style (3.6 x 5.1-inches) supports outdoor usage, with an anti-shock frame surviving sudden impacts and all-weather conditions. This combines with a sturdy weight (1 lb) for a 16 MP digital camera that transitions from the home to the woods with ease. A 3-inch screen provides sharp image resolutions with over 16-million pixels per photo. The use of color filters and exposure control technology bring drama to every frame, even in high-glare or nighttime conditions. The Fujifilm digital camera operates in any weather, resisting high humidity and providing stabilization technology for windy days. Its many shooting modes, which automatically conform to all outdoor environments, offer proper light adjustment; and the Fujifilm HS25EXR / HS28EXR even provides normal, wide, and super-wide lens options to guarantee a perfect angle (signature zoom technology secures up to 30x optic frames). This ensures convenience for use every day. The 16 MP digital camera proves adaptable for the home as well, however. JPEG formats transfer to computers, while a USB cable provides universal downloading. AA batteries offer ease but the Fujifilm digital camera also accepts lithium replacements, which provide longer battery life and can be recharged. The Fujifilm HS25EXR / HS28EXR creates striking outdoor photos and offers quick ways to retrieve them at home. | |

Great camera! Typical sharp Fujifilm lens, especially considering such a huge zoom range...sharp at extra close up macros but generally starts losing sharpness at over about 500mm focal length, due to limitations of the aperture and the subsequent increase in sensitivity (ISO)...quality begins to fall off over ISO 400 (but still very good, nearly excellent at 400), still OK (so/so) at ISO 800 but anything over that is dicey, definite noise and artifacts starts to be very apparent (a tripod is almost a requirement unless your have a VERY steady hand)...but what can you expect from a camera in this price and focal range? Really the only reason I didn't rate the camera a full 5 stars is not so much the aforementioned qualities of the camera (which are to be expected for a superzoom/bridge camera), but more to do with the HD movie recording format that the camera uses...which is Apple's Quicktime .mov format...a lot of playback software have trouble with this format, and it can't be changed in the camera...in my opinion, it would have been much better if the camera used a more common and easily supported format such as MPEG, AVI or WMV...I find that I have to use a format conversion software such as FreeMake to convert the .mov files to get the highest quality playbacks...but other than this, and the quirkiness of the EXR auto mode (standard auto mode is really better, I find the EXR mode pretty useless)...a really great camera....
I can't complain this is an awesome starter camera for any novice photographer. Biggest BZ I can give is its price. Bought this for my daughter this Christmas and she can't put it down. Your interested in learning photography without going into det, this is your camera.
I baught this camera for my 13 year son for Christmas of all his gifts this is what he loves the most takes beautiful pictures and the videos are Awsome I give it. 5****s ratting
