This book was the first book I ever went through in a small group setting. It is an awesome resource for couple that are struggling in areas of communication,intimacy,and just plain relating to each other. The book breaks us down into five different "languages that we receive and give love. I think this book is one that you read more than once in your lifetime...especially if you're married.

) We decided to get this Audio Book per our pastor's recommendation when we were going through our pre marriage classes, it was a requirement to read this book, well, my now husband has a reading disorder but loves to listen to books, so, we opted for this option.
This book has really opened our eyes as to what people 'hear' or 'precieve' makes them happy and truly loved; i.e. their personal love language.
It's honest, upfront and when you discuss the book after each disc as me and my husband chose to do on our honeymoon, we really learned a lot about each other and what makes each other 'tick'. We recommend this book to every co uple out there and to look at yourself, not just at what it can do for the other person.

) I love The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman any book that he write would be great and this si a audio the price was great. E-Bay had a great gift allowing this author's book on the market it was just wish i had enough money to get all of his books.

) I've never even considered that love expectations should be considered as we do different languages. It does make sense though, after listening to the explanation in this audio. Not only did it help to understand my own love language, but also that of my boyfriend, and my children. The format is easy to understand and surprising to think that no one has come up with the idea before. This one is very much worth buying and listening to ~ you'll find you want to hear it more then once.

) Some considerations ... There are strong Christian undertones to this CD. I though the message was pretty obvious & not that enlightening. The play acting by "people he has counseled" is, for the most part, terrible. The audio CD format is really handy & sound quality was good.
