Editorial reviews

"A Freudian operating in a Marxist political context, Mr. Bellocchio uncovers the infantilism that continues to rule adult desires, creating a cinema that is at once gleefully anarchic and coldly analytic."
New York Times - Dave Kehr (04/25/2006)

4 stars out of 4 -- "[The film] remains startling not only for its portrayal of perverse familial dysfunction, but also for its assured, original style and convention-defying structure."
Premiere - Tim Sheridan (06/01/2006)

Well-Done but a Bore

Very good techinically, but very boring. Features the "Italian Marlon Brando."
The daughter in the movie is very lovely, but she is nuts like everyone else. A bit extreme for a family drama.
