Product Information
The second in the Fishing Master series, this game offers over 200 different types of fish to catch and enables players to catch fish in their native waters around the world in the first ever global fishing game on the Wii. Players now have over forty different locations to fish from in seven different regions. Fish on Easter Island, under the Golden Gate Bridge, on the Amazon River and many more exotic global locations.

Staying true to the first version's realistic controls, aspiring Fishing Masters use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk as they battle to hook the fish on their line, just like in real life. Players must move the Wii Remote left and right as the fish fights from the end of the line and adjust their drag so their line doesn't break. Once gamers have the basics down, they can try their newfound skills by competing with friends via new enhancements made just for the sequel - four-person multiplayer modes! In Wi-Fi mode, players compete online against other Fishing Masters over who will catch the biggest fish in various worldwide locations. Gamers will also enjoy local multiplayer battle which enables them to play against their friends and family members in a variety of different battle modes.

Instruction Can Be Hard To Understand Sometimes

    Created: 05/07/09
The game is very fun but the instructions can be hard to understand sometimes. There is one part in Tokyo Bay where you are suppose to catch a special fish, but they only tell you they sell a bait in the store that you wouldn't normally use to catch the beast. I tried many different baits like baseball glove, magnet & cucumber, none of it worked. So I am still stuck at Tokyo Bay part. Otherwise it is a excellent and fund game to have in your collection.

Fishing Master World Tour for Wii 2009

    Created: 04/07/10
I love this game. If I could change anything it would be all the talking that you have to endure before you can even get started, that is the one thing that aggrivates me about it. There are many different challenges in this game and it is just like having to bring in a fighting fish. I do wish that you could upgrade your equipment without having to catch a certain amount of fish to get points. I would highly suggest this game to any fishermen out there it is an addicting way to bring in the big one ( that get away on here a lot of the time too), when you can't make it to your favorite fishing hole. When you master this game, you will be a pro like Bill Dance. LOL. Happy fishing!

    Fun family fishing game

    Created: 11/04/09
My family owns the original Fishing Master Wii, with all fishing locations within Japan, and loves it. The Wii hand remote is used as the fishing rod. The casting motion is similar to casting a fishing rod. It also shakes to simulate motion of reeling in a fish when it is hooked. The Wii nunchuck is used as a fishing reel. You turn the nunchuck in a similar motion of reeling in a fish. Fishing Master World Tour expanded the fishing locations to the rest of the world. New fish species were also added. It is a fun family fishing game. If you like the original Fishing Master, you more than likely will like this World Tour version as well.

    Pretty Fun

    Created: 01/26/10
After playing other fishing games for Wii, I will say this one is a little more like an arcade game than a fishing game. But it is still fun and I like the fact that you have to fish certain areas to get the other ones to unlock.
