Fisher Price Kid-Tough R7315 1.3 MP Digital Camera - Blue

I bought this digital camera a few weeks ago when my 4 yr. old grandson came to visit. This was a perfect gift for him. This camera is very durable, and held up through the numerous times that he dropped it. It is very easy for him to hold onto, as well as operate. There is a nice size viewing window to view the pictures he has taken. There is also a button that immediately sends pictures that he does not want to keep to the trash can. It comes with a usb cable to connect to the computer, and also can accomodate a memory card, which must be purchased seperately. No reading is necessary as each button has a corresponding picture next to it so that the youngsters know how it functions. I love this camera. I can't find a thing that I dislike about it. I highly recommend it.

This is an awesome camera for our toddler. It is easy to use-he can operate it w/no problems. He snaps pictures of everything and we can easily delete the ones that are bad. He is very busy & has dropped it several times, he just picks it up & goes on. Like the Fisher Price Kid Tough DVD player-I believe they are worth the money. We have not printed any pictures off it but that is not why we bought it.

I bought this for our daughter because our son had one and we were just tired of them fighting over the one. We bought her the pink one and it is very cute. It does the job of entertaining her which is nice. When she gets a little older we will have to buy her a real one as the picture quality on these cameras is not very good at all. I purchased this used on ebay after seeing the quality of pictures from our sons camera and did not want to pay full retail price. If you take a picture too close it generally comes out all white from the flash or black from the flash not going off. The only decent pictures are the ones taken during the day at about 6-8 feet away from whatever is being photographed. Even then there is a sort of blur to the pictures. Nice attempt by fisher price but I do not think this kind is worth the money. So bottom line:

Pros:
cute colors
still works after being dropped (many times) as advertised
entertains daughter for some time

Cons:
Picture quality about 90% of the time is very poor
You have to unscrew the camera to insert/take out a memory card

The camera is tough. It can take a beating but still take pictures so that is really important for my 3 year old. It is easy enough to use but he doesn't quite get the whole idea behind keeping the pictures (he likes to delete them). It can be a little hard to turn on and off and it tears through batteries. My son loves it and the pictures are tolerable so that is what counts!

I loved this product for my newly 4 year old son! He was always grabbing my camera and taking shots. I wanted him to have something durable, that he could use on his own, and! The viewing screen is a a little fuzzy but at least there is one! My son loves showing off his shots whether they be of a shoe the ground or a serious closeup of a person. The buttons are big and easy for children to understand. I didn't even have to explain each one to him. He just picked it up and started pressing things til he figured it out. I also have a one yr old that gets a hold of the camera every now and again but its ok because it is so durable even him banging it like drumsticks on the wall didn't break it! Would highly recommend this product for any Lil aspiring photographer! :)
