    Movie synopsis
THE FIRST $20 MILLION pokes fun at the e-commerce boom of the late 1990s in a fictional story about a young man (Adam Garcia) who gives up a slick marketing job in Silicon Valley in order to pursue his dream job--working for himself, trying to invent and market a $99 personal computer. At his lowest point, a sexy neighbor (Rosario Dawson) revitalizes both the entrepreneur's business and his sexual appetite. With a screenplay by Jon Favreau and Gary Tieche, the film is based on a book by Po Bronson.

    Simplify, Clarify, and Economize

The idea of a $99 computer may have been a big dream in this film, but to those who have seen the documentary TED, it is a reality. Of course, the real $99 computer is nothing like these guys dreamed up!

Andy (Adam Garcia) wants to really build something like his father. So, he quits his marketing job and goes to work at a dream factory. They do not accept him and give him the $99 computer project, which no one believes is possible. he has to recruit his own team.

He gets the only guys left. When you see them, you will know why they are left - no one else would touch them. Jake Busey, Ethan Suplee (Randy from "My Name Is Earl"), and Anjul Nigam join Andy.

While Andy is not busy on the computer project he is trying to make it with Rosario Dawson. You know that she is really the reason I am watching this movie.

But, I got a bonus. Besides almost seeing Rosario shine, I got a lot of laughs along the way and I got to see a jerk (Enrico Colantoni) get his due. Not bad for an hour and a half.

If you like comedy and computers it's worth a watch

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

This is a pretty good movie. If you like comedy and computers it's worth a watch. It's a low budget film but doesn't make it less enjoyable, in my opinion.

The first 20 million....easy to watch.

I think it's a cute easy to watch movie. This movie isn't for people, who goes for "heavy weight" and "meaningful" watch over and over kind of films.
The storyline is easy to follow, funny, cute. Three dysfuntional genius - a fluffball, an indian and a german headed germ freak - and a businessman try to make it big. There is happy end @ the end.
Why did I buy this movie? Probably, because the critics were so negative about it. I Like movies critics don't like most of the time.
