Movie synopsis
In FINAL DESTINATION 2, the basic notion of cheating mortality is further refined with an even more gripping plot provided by Eric Bress & J. Mackye Gruber, the duo behind the film BLUNT. Director David R. Ellis revels in film as an entertainment vehicle and the result is a no-holds-barred raucous good time. Ellis' background as a stuntman and stunt coordinator helps him build electric suspense through a chain of seemingly simple actions that in fact loaded and lethal. In the original, FINAL DESTINATION, a group of students avoided the tragic crash of Flight 180 when Alexander Browning had a premonition. Death, however, didn't like being outwitted, and one by one the survivors died in freak accidents. The sole survivor was Clear Rivers (Ali Larter) who voluntarily checked into a padded room at Stonybrook Institute. FINAL DESTINATION II takes place on Flight 180's one-year anniversary. Kimberly Corman (A.J. Cook) is joyriding with some friends on Route 23 when she "sees" herself, her friends, and other drivers involved in a massive multi-car pileup. The scene is so artfully executed, it physically hurts to watch. She and police officer Thomas Burke (Michael Landes) save a group of people who would have otherwise died in the crash. But, as ever, death approacheth, taking the likes of Evan (David Paetkau), the Trans Am-loving lottery winner who puts up a good fight but is ultimately impaled on a fire escape ladder; and Tim (James Kirk), who almost chokes to death at the dentist and is later flattened by a piece of industrial glass. Clear Rivers busts out of the psych ward to help the remaining survivors pool their efforts and read the signs of impending death before it claims their lives.

Great endless movie!

Review For: Final Destination 2 (DVD, 2003, Infinifilm; Widescreen & Full Frame)

With the function it is a very good to watch the movie and press and you are prompted to an altered or deleted scene! This is a very scary movie with a very scary dark sense of humour! Take the chance to see the real way that The Angel of Death works his trade! Nice shots surprising sometimes a bit shockingly gore!Your eyes will open and never close again as you will think you will loose one of the great Special Effects that happen all the time!Do not think twice on buying this movie or anyone of the saga.Final destination One and Three those where the ones I found from Malta and than I bought this one. I like the story of the first one and always loved Davon Sawa and the humour of the second one and the third one unfortunatly I did not see it in 3D! (spoiler) the carwash scene was one of the best ones and the Cinema scene glorious!
I hope they make the fourth!

Great fun...

Review For: Final Destination 2 (DVD, 2003, Infinifilm; Widescreen & Full Frame)

The second of the trilogy, Final Destination 2, was rather good! Not nearly as good as the first one, but this one had it's share of good humor & average scares. In fact, I thought this one was more humorous than scary. I found a lot of scenes hilarious, along with my friends. The deaths in this one were more cheesy..to the point where you can't help but laugh. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. Not sure if the humor was intended or not. I would have to say the acting was not that great, especially by the lead female character. But overall, it's just fun to watch when you're in the mood. Great to add to your thriller collection!

The best of the Final Destination series!

Review For: Final Destination 2 (DVD, 2003, Infinifilm; Widescreen & Full Frame)

If you have seen the original "Final Destination" (recommended before viewing this film) then you know the storyplot idea, so lets skip that part. What makes this film stand out among all the final destination films is the action sequences. You are immediately engulfed into a 20 minute highway pile up scene that turns into a premonition of things to come. Once again Death is cheated, and it wants revenge. The rest of what makes this film great is a spoiler, so I will not ruin it for you. Just read through the other reviews and you will find the urge to purchase this collection (or at least this one DVD).

More of a Remake. As good as the first

Review For: Final Destination 2 (DVD, 2003, Infinifilm; Widescreen & Full Frame)

More of a remake..if you liked the first one, you will like this one.
Once again, the special effects are very cool (a little more gore than the original.) The only thing I didn't like about this one was that Ali Larter's character was brought back...but that's my opinion. Overall, worth adding to your horror collection.

Final Destination 2 (2003, DVD)

Review For: Final Destination 2 (DVD, 2003, Infinifilm; Widescreen & Full Frame)

Final Destination 2:
What I can say about this one is, first: One of the few horror movies that´s part 2 (and 3) is perfect entertainment for a horror fan. When the make several parts of a movie as good as the first part, is often, second or third etc bad, but not this one! You get your selves a though, if you gonna know you can change your destiny, do you gonna deceive death? or is your destiny already establish??? I would to take the opportunity, to recommended the hole trilogy, they are good all three! Tens, feelings, young but great actors, create a very nice movie to see! Highly recommended from a huge fan and a collector of horror dvd´s!
