Now, it's up to you to defeat Howard and restore Southtown to what it once was. Playing as one of three unique characters Joe Higashi, Terry Bogard, or Andy Bogard you must enter the King of Fighters Tournament and emerge victorious in order to bring home the Championship and defeat Geese. There are dozens of special moves to master and eight distinct locations to fight in, meaning you're going to have your hands full. You can enter the arena in two different fighting modes Championship or Street Battle and you can take on the computer-controlled opponents or a friend in head-to-head, no holds barred combat. Only you can release Southtown City from the grasp of an evil dictator.

     | Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

This is Genesis, this is Fatal Fury. If you have a a Neo geo or know what one is, the most iconic character begins his journey here. Avenging his fathers death this game is just a long road to revenge. The game is obviously dated but much in the same way as Super Mario Bros. is dated. A must have an dthe game is EXTREMELY hard, much more depth then the Street Fighter Series which is entertaining but a button masher. This game requires much skill and timing and if you think you can just punch and kick without any planning you are done for.

    Pros:
    Graphics, Sound, 2 Player Co-op
    Cons:
    Difficult Controls, Low Replay Value
As far as fighting games go I grew up with the likes of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Sure I gave other fighters a chance, but no others could really hold my attention so well. This is where Fatal Fury fits in. I own the game for the Super Nintendo, but only those familiar with this edition know how truly bad it is. This version feels more like an NES game than anything else, and lacks any redeeming features whatsoever. I was pleased to learn that the original arcade game is supposedly worlds better than this hackjob. In the past few years I managed to acquire a Neo Geo console, but...
