Movie synopsis
FAT ALBERT'S GREATEST HITS contains some favorite episodes from Bill Cosby's animated series. Based on the comedian's riotous routines about his childhood in the 1960s, FAT ALBERT portrays a group of kids dealing with life in Philadelphia's inner city. Interspersed with popular music and live action footage of Cosby himself, FAT ALBERT describes social issues, personal problems, and the nonsensical antics of Rudy, Mushmouth, Donald, Bill, Weird Harold, and Russell. The series, which ran from 1972 to 1984, was a regular for Saturday morning couch potatoes who loved how Fat Albert's gang turned a forbidding urban landscape into a playground.

Fat Albert's Greatest Hits: The Ultimate Collection

I bought this product because I teach in an inner city. Fat Albert has a very positive message for kids who live in any area BUT especially the inner city. The physical environment depicted, the way the kids joke with each other, the characters of the stories are all very relational for my students. They get to laugh and learn at the same time...perfect!!!

AWESOME MORAL

MOST CARTOONS ARE JUST TO GET THE CHILDRENS ATTENTION BY BLOWING UP THINGS,CRAZY MUSIC,GOOD GRAPHICS NO STORY OR MORALS, BUT WHEN YOU WATCH ANY FAT ALBERT CARTOONS YOU REALLY FEEL GOOD AT THE END BECAUSE HE TEACHES YOU HOW TO BE GOOD TO EVERYONE,AND TEACHES YOU RIGHT FROM WRONG VERY GOOD MORALS THIS CARTOON SHOULD BE PLAYING EVERY SATURDAY RATHER THAN THE ONE MY CHILDREN WATCHES MAHALO AND ALOHA

HEY,HEY, HEY !!!!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I love Fat Albert and the Gang, such an awesome and educational show. That teaches us what to look out for in the real world. And i can't even believe people would give this show a bad review. Oh well when there kids start smoking and stealing, Just BLAME they're cry baby parents and Adventure Time. hahahahahah

Fat Albert's Greatest Hits: The Ultimate Collection

It was for my young kids. Ages 3 to 7. The message in the video was about divorce, smoking and cheating. Really not a message for young kids.
This video would be great for kids about 12 years old.

Fat Albert's Greatest Hits: the Ultimate Collection

I rememger watching Fat Albert as a child. I would laugh and there was always a lesson to learn. As an adult I'm still laughing and my two children are laughing and learning a lesson. Great clean fun for kids.
