The game that could have been perfect.
Created: 12/09/09
This game is by far one of the most adventurous and entertaining games i have ever encountered.
I'm not here to kiss ass. I'm here to give a fair review.
However, before i start going off and continuing to praise this game so highly I'm going to have to address a VERY serious issue with this game that should be taken care of but unfortunately the lazy creators of fallout 3 (bethesda) did not feel the need to fix probably due to their poor work ethic.
Game bugs and glitches. This game is a festering pile of steamy smelling, grotesque, disgusting and PLENTIFUL amount of bugs and glitches. The developers don't care. They are simply to lazy.
In their mind set they are most likely thinking along the lines of "Why should we fix the bugs and glitches? Who cares? We already sold the games like mad and made all the incredible sales we are gonna make. We don't care about our fan's or consumers. To hell with them. They already wasted their money and there is nothing more to be gained from them. So why should we help them by fixing and patching a bunch of the bug and glitch issues within the game?"
Pure laziness and arrogance. The game has a multitude of VERY serious file damaging bugs and glitches. Some of which will ruin your entire main story itself. One of these MANY bugs is one that you encounter RIGHT at VERY end of the game. This giant titan of a robot simply stands still forever and doesn't move. It's because the robot is frozen in place and doesn't move that you will be UNABLE to continue your main story. Be WARNED! You WILL NOT be able to see the ending. You're playing a game in which you can't even see the very ending you worked for? What sort of stupidity is that? You would think that alone would be enough reason to convince the creators of Fallout 3 to patch and fix the bug,but unfortunately they just could care less. They made their sales and they have your hard earned money already for the most part.
Now i ask you. What is the point in purchasing a game that you can't even beat because of the ridiculous amount of bugs and glitches preventing you from even being able to see the ending? There IS NO POINT! You're wasting your hard earned money. What makes this worse? Not being able to beat the regular main story line prevents you from even being able to take advantage of one of the expansions itself AFTER the end of the game that's included with this game. It's simply ridiculous and i for one am extremely disappointed. As i said there are plenty more bugs/glitches,but I'm not gonna list them all,but if your curious you can view them all on "The Vault wiki". Some other glitches aside from ones that ruin the main story and make the game impossible to continue,a few others are some which prevent you from obtaining unique weaponry that should have otherwise been made available to the game is not because of the horrible amount of bugs.
Thanks to all the bugs and glitches i will conclude by saying playing this game is like a choir. It's not something you do because you want to play it. It's something you PUT UP WITH and TOLERATE just to see what happens next in the game only to find out your screwed and can't even beat the game or obtain the items you want because of the serious bug issue you encounter within the game and at the end of the game before even being able to see the ending of the game itself.
This could have been an amazing game if it wasn't made completely half-assed. Don't waste your money people.

Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 is a Role-Playing-Game and First-Person-Shooter combined into a HUGE non-linear single-player experience that is very reminiscent of previous Bethesda Softworks titles such as Oblivion. You will be quickly and easily immersed into a post apocalyptic world, fighting for survival wielding countless weapons, armors and allies that will aid you as you explore the barren wasteland and the ruins of a post-nuclear attack Washington DC. It is not a fast-paced non-stop action FPS, nor a typical dragon-slaying sword-wielding RPG (though you can use swords as weapons), but every gamer will find some aspect of this must-play adventure enjoyable and genuinely immersive.

Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition

Fallout 3 came as a big surprise. I´ve been an computer RPG fan for a long time, since the SSI Eye of the Beholder series. PLayed Baldur´s Gate God knows how many times. But thought of the genre as dead and buried. I got this game as a part of a bundle a friend of mine was selling, and was the last game I played. What a surprise. The genre is not dead. The graphics and gameplay are awesome and rekindled that sense of exploration and level advancement I thought lost. Mixed in it is the Mad Max aura that permeate everything. The story is very well paced, with drama, comedy and a feeling of strangeness one would expect should nuclear apocalypse occur.
If you are a fan of the genre, specially baldur´s gate, this is a definetly buy.

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition for the Xbox 360

Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition provides an extremely impressive value as it includes the already immense open-world Role Playing Game, Fallout 3, plus all five expansion packs: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Point Lookout, Broken Steel, and Mothership Zeta. With countless hours of gameplay in this one package anyone who likes gaming would be hard pressed to find a better value. Especially RPG fans and anyone who loved The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion as this game was developed by the same design team.

This is one of the best games i have played. Takes a long time to beat and once you do beat it you got four exspanson packs to play. Really cool story line and graphics are really good.
