Nine months ago, Point Man and his F.E.A.R. squad were tapped to stop a telepathically gifted cannibal who had begun a murderous rampage. Point Man learned the target was his brother, Paxton Fettel, working alongside their tortured and psychically powerful mother, Alma Wade. Despite this revelation, Point Man followed orders to destroy them and subsequently ravaged the surrounding city and most of his F.E.A.R. team. Now, it is clear that Alma's psychic influence survived and worse, she is about to birth something that could destroy the world. Fettel has returned from death with an unclear agenda, refusing to leave Point Man's side and asking for help to reach Alma. The remaining F.E.A.R. squad is still trying to complete their mission. With his chain of command broken and Point Man calling his own shots, where will his allegiance lie F.E.A.R. 3 introduces divergent co-op, giving players distinctly different abilities affecting their own play as well as the experience of their co-op partner. Gamers participate in single player or co-op modes as Point Man, a genetically enhanced super soldier originally introduced in F.E.A.R., or they can play cooperatively as his conniving brother Paxton Fettel, whose incredible telekinetic power has given him life beyond the grave.

    Good game. Worth around $40

    Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

    The game is good. Not as spooky as the first 2 but the graphics are improved, controllers are tight and the co op is actually really fun! Multiplayer is pretty good. Kinda upset there is no Team Deathmatch or regular Deathmatch but the modes it has is fun. The only thing that upsets me is that no one is really playing this online on PS3 which isn't the games fault...Overall its a good game but not $60 full price.

    Amazing,couldive been better, but this is still a great game to keep.

    The game is great, the story is great,the co-op is better,and the multi-player is something more different than you would expect from a first-person shooter. If you love horror shooters then this is the right one for you ;)

    Good game, good co-op, very unique franchise

    whether you're looking for a new, solid shooter to play or something set in a unique, horror-filled atmosphere, F.3.A.R. has something for you. You won't find the be-all end-all shooter experience with F.3.A.R. but you’re still bound to have a lot of fun.

    Great game, enough said. Plenty of action and first shooter action. I have played all the f.e.a.r titles and will continue to if more is to com and by the ending of this installment, I believe more is to come.

    Great multiplayer modes, co op campaign, and great scares make this a buy!

    Very fun game. I didn't have high expectations for it, but I'm glad I purchased it.

    The multiplayer is extremely fun this time with the "contractions" game mode. The story mode is a lot of fun with co op added. There's still scares, AI is greatly improved, and controls feel great.

    Highly recommend this game.
