This book is one of the best books on how emotions affect our day to day lives and offers a path on how we could take control of our emotions. It is a true revalation into the workings of how what we feel affects how we do things and it offers insides on how people could take control of their emotions and by that be successful at the game of life..
Cheers and happy reading!!!
Easy to read, very enlightening!!! I also have this book in Spanish! My daughter and I have read it, and we agree that wile many of us think that a college degree is the most important asses to succeed in life (which is important), this by itself will not help much if the individual don’t use their emotional wisdom. Knowledge come from books but wisdom comes from within.
The book is extremely comprehensive and very well supported by scientific literature. The whole thing is really a large scientific literature review that is both interesting and entertaining. I feel like it helped me think about society, individuals, work, parenting, and myself in a while new way. I highly recommend it.
i am enjoying the book but i will be honest-i do get a little lost in sections where it gets a bit too scientific as far as terminology. remember the teachers and adults from charlie brown cartoons? yeah.....i have moments like those. i wish it was the sort of book that i could read cover to cover but a few pages at a time is all i can do for now.
I like the fact that this book addresses some distinct issues that all people of ambition deal with on a daily basis. I love the fact that this is a hard cover book and made to last. As pedestrian as this may sound, what I disliked most about the book was its vocabulary. I am a college graduate and this book is certainly not geared toward the layman. I decided to buy this book on the bias recommendation of author “Robert T Kiyosaki”.
