I have owned two of the 2004 models. They last about 2 years under heavy use...they usually break from rewinding the VCR tapes...something I would not recommend...get a another unit to do that and it will last a lot longer than 2 years. Other than that I can't complain light unit...programming is easy. Sound pretty good for the dollar value.
I have had this TV for a while now, i don't use it much anymore since i got a bigger TV. When i was using it, it was great. Picture quality is great for being old. the only complaint i have is that the VCR part broke and if i put a VCR in it it tears all the inside out.
