Actually, I bought two since the price was so good on EBay. It was an impulse buy and mostly to invest a small amount to see if I would use a tablet. I use it some, but mostly I depend on my smartphone or laptop. I don't have much to compare it to.
I can surf the net as long as I have a wireless connection. It also functions as a e-reader, but haven't tried that yet.
One warning if you do buy one on these, the stylus is built into the case on a corner and you must pull it out to gain access. Impatience broke one off. As noted is promotional material, battery only lasts a couple hours of use. No 12v charger included.
I notice it takes a long time for those must be elderly Angry Birds to get back in line. The touch screen takes some getting used to from my phone.
With little to compare it to, I think it may be a bit of a disappointment for anyone younger than a baby boomer, yet possibly a good first exposure for a pre-teen or younger.
i purchased this because i wanted something bigger than my lg android phone. the operating system 2.2 android was terrible. the battery life and charge time was not good.. it did connect to my router easly. but playing internet radio it just kept buffering.. my dtr used for an hour or so .. downloaded a couple of games .. market worked well.. after the hour she told me it was useless for the simple games she downloaded. im sure it would be fine for simple e mail. i had problems with simple apps. final word is im returning it.. seller was great about the return.. and give them 5 stars.. but this isnt about them.. i will keep looking for a tablet that might be better.. something with a different os.. might be better.. and a capasitive screen..
In a few no-jargon words: its a humble ipad. No huge pretences, it does what it has to do well and if you're no tech guru, you'll be happy with it - and happier that you paid much less for it. The battery is perhaps the greatest showstopper. Charging time is quite long too. The absence of a camera at the back side is a bit annoying but the one at the front is def good for skype.
Forget it if you want software to load at the speed of light or if you want cutting edge tech. If you're a little bit patient and consider yourself 'average', then you could possible live with it well.
Not sure about this tablet. It charged up pretty quick and the battery is good... It's heavy in weight, browsing is slow even when only a few feet from my wireless router... I've decided to send it back since the touch pad goes crazy in the corner by the camera. It's not worth the money.
It is lightweight, has low battery capacity and the charger doesn't stay connected to the device. It has good screen resolution and screen size is functional.
