Electro-Harmonix POG Octave Guitar Effect Pedal

I bought this product because I was wanting one in my effects chain for a long time. There is nothing I dislike about this particular effect. It tracks really well. You can really fine tune what sound you are looking to get out of it. The organ sound is by far the coolest thing about the POG. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for an octave pedal. I owned a Boss Super Shifter at one point, and it just doesn't even compare with the POG. If you are looking for an octave pedal, this is the pedal to go with. You can hear it on John Mayer's "In Repair" throughout to hear the organ sound. I use it to fatten up lead parts mainly. I will also set it to an organ and couple it with a volume pedal to get some very nice swells.

simply amazing! tracks chords and notes perfectly. if you want any octave effect this pedal can do it. built like a tank. well worth the money. the only thing i can say that not really even a negitive is i had to run it after my big muff to keep good tones but doesnt really affect any thing other then the way i had to run my cords. great pedal buy it.

I BOUGHT THIS BECOUSE IM A BIG JACK WHITE FAN,AND A FAN OF HAMMOND ORGANS,IT IS GREAT,I DONT KNOW HOW IT COMPARES TO THE POG2 BUT TO ME SIMPLE IS BETTER,AND I WANTED THE FIRST VERSION,IT HAS A CLASSIC LOOK,THE WIDE RANGE OF TONES FROM THIS THANG IS AWESOME,ALOT OF TONES FROM SOMETHANG SO SIMPLE,,,,,, ITS A MUST

My boyfriend is even MORE in love with me! Got this as his Christmas gift and he can't stop talking about how it has now become his favorite pedal on his board! Also, this particular one was purchased as a "used" pedal, but it looks like BRAND NEW! not a scratch on it!

I wanted my six string guitar to sound like a twelve string. This pedal
