| Put on your sunglasses and prepare to step into the boots of Duke Nukem, whose legend has reached epic proportions in the years since his last adventure. The alien hordes are back and only Duke can save the world, again. Pig cops, alien shrink rays and enormous alien bosses won't stop our hero from accomplishing his one and only goal: to save the world, save the babes and to be a bad-ass while doing it. The King of All Shooters is back with over-the-top weapons, massive aliens and unprecedented levels of interactivity. This game puts pedal to the metal and tongue firmly in cheek, among other places. Shoot hoops, lift weights, read adult magazines, draw crude messages on whiteboards or ogle one of the many beautiful women that populate Duke's life; that is if you can pull yourself away long enough from kicking ass and taking names. Duke Nukem was and will forever be immortalized in gaming history, and this is his legend. | |

Duke is back and up to his old self. The graphics and action is much more smoother; Duke's smart assed comments are still there. I would highly recommend that you use a joy stick or standard game controller; using the PC keyboard is cumbersome and makes trying to play nearly impossible. I love the game, just can't move around very well and still survive with PC control.
Classic game, a continuation of the last Duke game. First person shooter engine looks just like to last version of Duke. People that enjoyed the 1 liners from previous Duke games should enjoy this one too. Not an amazing game, but one you buy and play for old-time-sakes. Personally, I enjoyed it. I wish you didn't have to deal with Steam to use the game. You may have more issues getting the game to work with Steam then any other issues. I guess using Steam makes sure no one else can ever use that serial number, so you can't sell the game after you play it. It's yours for life...
Its just one simple word: WOW. nothing better than Duke Nukem. He is the King of all that ever was or all that will ever be. I bow to you Duke Nukem. GEt this game and it will too change your life.
Like it took 14 years to be constantly making the awesome game for the epic comeback!have not finished it but helps pass the time on my par-time job. I highly recommend for any and all gamers to download and play. U can even put on as many cpus as u like.
First time I had a game that has to connect with an www server to install and play the game......Didn't install well and even tho I have a quadcore AMD and 3Gig of memory, the game almost will not play. I gave up and deleted it and chalked the whole thing up to a learning curve lesson.
