Movie synopsis
The Canadian television series DUE SOUTH is a police action-comedy revolving around Canadian Mountie Benton Fraser (Paul Gross) and his partner, Chicago cop Ray Vecchio (David Marciano). When Fraser is exported to the streets of Chicago from up north to fight crime, the polite mountie and his deaf, lip-reading K-9 encounter endless humor, especially in their experiences with the vastly different Vecchio. This release contains the entire second season as broadcast in the United States.

a good series

I really like the tongue-in-cheek scripts that are the hall-mark of this series. The actors played well off each other too and I like the guest-star appearances of Leslie Neilson, who always is fun to watch. This dvd series makes a good addtion to my video library.

Due South ( season 2 )

BRAVO! How refreshing! A hero with compassion, good morals, kindness, courage, and manners! I often can not find any programing of interest even though we have 100+ channels available with our service. The obsession in this country with "reality TV", which showcases the worst in human behavior is alarming. One can only hope society is not really accuratly depicted in these shallow charectors. The story lines in Due South are engaging, and the endings uplifting. A Canadian Mounty and his pet wolf, transplanted to Detroit was a fresh concept(produced in the late 70's- early 80's). The contrast between his culture, and that of Detroit's finest is amusing, and the friendship and loyalty of the two law enforcement officers that develops is heartwarming.

awesome candien show

i used to watch it when i was little. i found it on here and i had to buy it. brings back childhood memories and such. i mean whats cooler than a mountie? a mountie with a half wolf dog for a pet, that reads lips! thats what is cooler than a mountie.

Due South - Season 2

This season is really funny with more dialog with dead people and a wolf. The story plots are very weak and sometimes just jump to a quick and unexplained ending, still I like this season with Frasers explanations of life in Canada and his Dad

great movie- only drawback is no captions

I like the kindness and friendship showen in the movie. The back drop for the story line is written well.
Needs caption!
