    3 cheers for Uncle Scrooge!

This game is based loosely on the 1980's hit cartoon show of the same name, and is highly regarded as one of the best action platformers for the NES. You'll help Uncle Scrooge increase his fortune by visiting various ancient ruins, jungles, haunted manors and even outer space and robbing them blind of their most guarded treasures. Along for the ride is Scrooge's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie and even Launchpad Mcquack to help you as you encounter one danger after another to keep Scrooge's number 1 spot as the richest duck in the world, but Flintheart Glomgold, Scrooge's 2nd best rival may have a word to say about it. You'll be humming along to the fantastic tunes and admiring the detailed scenery along the way to your final goal, only downside is the game is a tad bit short. Buy it today! 9/10

Duck Tales: a good game? Yes. Your mind will be blown.

The answer is an astounding "yes": if you don't own Duck Tales already, yes, you should. You don't have to be a kid to love this Capcom classic. The level design, playability, and holy lord... the music, all excel beyond expectations for an NES title. It's challenging, it's fun, and it has replay value because all its elements come together without a hitch.

You play as a Scottish anthropomorphic duck collecting gems and other treasures in the quest to rescue your duck nephews. Several levels are available to play in the order of your choosing. I'd have to say The Moon level is my favorite for the music alone (it is one of the iconic tunes of the late 8-bit era), followed by Transylvania for its challenging gameplay, but in complete honesty there's no weak level among them. This is a solid game and is widely considered to be one of the best NES games released.

In summation, I will count "Duck Tales" as one of the top 10 cartridges to own for the original Nintendo. It's just one of those games that rocks you with an undeniable nostalgia. Definitely one you'll want to keep handy!

    Duck Tales for the NES

Duck Tales for the NES was one of several NES titles released by Capcom which featured characters from Disney. In Duck Tales you take control of Scrooge McDuck who travels through 5 different stages ranging from jungles to haunted castles and even to the moon.

What I liked about this title was the music, like most Capcom titles released during this era it featured an impressive array of music that is a catchy as it is memorable. It also features branching paths and semi-difficult bosses and even features characters from the show that help to point Scrooge to clues that would help him to complete the level.

The only negatives that I could think of was the fact that it gets a little confusing without some help but other than that its an impressive title and I would recommend it to anyone who was a fan of the show, Capcom, action titles, or NES games in general.

    Ducktales / good one !

In Ducktales you control Scrooge Mcduck. You have to travel around the world and collect treasures in order to become the world's richest duck. At the home screen you can choose your level. The levels are: The Amazon, Transylvania, African Mines, The Himalayas and The moon. The levels can be played in any order. Upon finishing all five, the player is directed back to Transylvania for the final boss fight. To defeat your enemies you can use Scrooge's cane as a weapon, tool, and pogo stick. The games has good graphics and the controls are also fine. Personally I don't like the game because of the "dark" level designs. (I'm more for the happy colors :)) But still this is a good game so be sure to try this one out !

Capcom makes a great Disney game reminiscent of Megaman

Duck tales was a great animated show from Disney. Duck tales on the NES was an amazing and fun game. The gameplay was a lot of fun. You play as Scrooge McDuck on a quest to obtain riches from several different locations throughout the worlds(The Himalayas, Amazon, Transylvania, The Moon, African mines, and so on). There are some elements in this game that make this game really fun, first, aside from jumping, Scrooge uses his walking stick to hop even higher off of dangerous obstacles(A technique you will need to master). There are some great bosses in this game including Magika De Spell, Count Duckula(I think?), a Yeti, and others. The stages and gameplay feels a lot like Megaman, and the Animations of the enemies are fantastic. This game is just an absolute blast to play, but you gotta wonder what happens to the nephews after they are abandoned and their mine cart falls down into a pit. Tch, good going Scrooge!
