I first fell in love with Michael Connelly's stories after reading the Black Echo. Since then, I have bought & read all of his books while I was deployed with the United States Navy. It helped me get through the hard times & let me escape to story land. I just got done reading "The Drop". It is an excellent read. I recommend it to all crime/detective lovers. I also recommend Lee Child. He is my second favorite author.

For Michael Connelly fans this is a "must read". Harry Bosch is back solving cold cases and the two that he works on at the same time make for good plots. He has a new partner but his old partner (Kiz Rider) plays an important role as she is now in the office of the chief of police and therefore her role is more political than Harry would like.

I READ THIS BOOK IN 4 NIGHTS AND THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE MICHAEL CONNELLY BOOK. CONNELLY JUST KEEPS ATTAINING NEW HEIGHTS INSTEAD OF DREDGING UP THE SAME OLD STUFF. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.
