Survival Fighting Game. Ground breaking and innovative.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

The last Double Dragon of the three for the NES. It's clearly the underdog of the series, as they dynamics of initial franchise has changed.

No longer do you have several lives in this game. Beating up Jimmy isn't an option either. You have a single life. Not that I'm complaining, as there is a good challenge to be found in this change.

I find with many good and challenging NES titles, the reception is often lower by the player base. There are many titles on the NES which are in the 'very hard' category, but have been slammed in to the ground due to it. For me, Double Dragon III offers a bit more realism to this Martial Arts franchise.

Each person you accumulate a long the way has different talents and abilities. Use them to your advantage when needed, as the game is designed for character rotation. It's almost a survival fighting game. Another innovative and ground breaking title on the nes.

Get yourself a copy. It belongs in your collection, and it deserves more respect.

Double Dragon 3 - NES

The first two Double Dragon games for NES were good, but this one really blows.
It starts off telling the story of Billy and Jimmy, only there is a typo, so you play with Bimmy...and Jimmy...
It's is extremely hard, you die fast, and only get one life, so when you do die, you start from the begining.
Two player mode makes it possible to advance past the first level, (Just don't pick 2-Player Game B. because then you hit each other)
As you get farther into the game you meet other characters, and when you die you can play as them, but they are just normal people who can't really fight anyway, so it's pointless.

This game is trash.

A very underrated game.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Completely UNDERRATED.
This game was programmed by American Technos, makers of "River city ransom" and "Crash and the Boys Street Challenge", games that usually go for more than $25. This is the best version of Double Dragon there is...and somehow, market doesn't reflect this.

Good round ending for the trilogy!

As far as beat 'em up games go for the NES Double Dragon is the best. The final game in the series brings the best out and makes it well worth adding to your NES collection.
