Product Information
This 1994 US dollar belongs to the commemorative coinage type and has the denomination of one United States dollar. The silver US dollar marks the passing of 200 years since the construction of the US Capitol, when the country was less than 20 years old. The silver coin consists of 90 percent pure silver (fineness = 0.9), and it weighs 0.77 oz, while its diameter is 1.5 inches. The obverse of the 1994 dollar depicts Capitol dome as well as the Statue of Freedom at the top of the dome, surrounded by stars. The reverse of the silver coin is covered with an eagle on a shield and flags flanking. This US dollar was authorized by the United States Capitol Commemorative Coin Act, and only a limited amount of 500,000 coins were produced.

The very best rendering of our great capital building!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

This is a showcase coin whether in mintstate or proof and especially so in 70.
All American citizens will be proud to show off this coin due to the minute detail, the mints care in the die preperation, and the care in handling after striking.
This coin depicts one of the greatest bulidings in our nations history and does so in a manner that even in minature form brings out pride of freedom started by thirteen small colonies two hundred years ago.
Although this is a relatively inexpensive coin, the subject matter, the pride of country, and the Capitals place in our history make it one of the top two or three must have modern commorative coins to have in your collection.
Happy collecting everyone!
