One of my favorites

Michael Crichton normally delves into the depths of scientific progress or the medical profession, but in this novel (that was also made into a movie) he explores multi-national corporations and the dangers of working for them. As an early book of Crichton's, this is definitely one of my favorites. He creates a story you can feel. You hate some characters. You love some characters. You are involved in the story...in the journey of a single man who is screwed over by a large corporation and a woman.

Overall, this is definitely worth reading. It is a quick and satisfying read. Crichton's language and style of writing offer up an easy to read, but quite enjoyable story of human experience.

Sexual harrassment big time in reverse

First of all Michael Crichton writes books that are bestsellers and very interesting so that is why I knew I would be guaranteed a good read. I was right. This is a book that turns the table on men and the women in the story is really devious to a fault. Exciting how it unfolds

Corporate Intrigue and Computer Games!

This is an exciting, easy to follow plot which was made into a great movie with Demi Moore and Michael Douglas. The character are vivid and surprising, with snappy, intelligent dialogue. I loved the intrigue surrounding Meredith, the Vice-President who manipulated her way into a position of corporate and sexual power, only to be revealed in the end.

FAIRLY GOOD BOOK BUT NOT UP TO THE AUTHOR'S USUAL STANDARD! I REALLY LIKE MORE MEDICAL STUFF IN THE STORY.

Michael is one of my all time favorite authors, I have read all of his books, And my only complaint is that he doesnt write fast enough, I need at least one new book every week :O)
I wont divulge any plots of the book because if you are like me you dont wont to know the plots until you reach them in the book.
This is also a film starrring Michael Douglas and Demi Moore.
I do highly recomend this book.
